This show was by far one of the best shows I have ever seen! I have never felt surrounded by so much talent in my life...what an amazing performance by some of the OG performers...FANTASTIC! Such talent, such class, such charisma, such wonder...abosolutely amazing!!

Best performance I have ever seen of Rent..and it was my 5th time seeing it live, including in April w/the same cast in Chicago! I recommend it to any fan of anything--Rent has something for everyone. It got me hooked on Broadway!

high energy,and entertaining,UB 's production of Rent left me wanting one more scene one more song.....The actors voices were robust. The dancing was done well considering a lack of a nyc professional coreographer....Great job all around...especially enjoyed three characters Tom Collins Outstanding voice,Angels mannerisms,and Maureenes girlfriend,her energy and stage presense was vibrant...she has a real future in acting.

after watching the movie version for a few years...i feel that in my opinion that the play in many ways was better than the movie! i would surely recommend it to anybody!

Awesome show...anyone who enjoys broadway should see this at least once in their life! The vocals were a bit hard to understand. The vocals and music were so loud that you could hear the words. Overall it was an AMAZING show and seeing original cast members was awesome!

This was AMAZING! It was so great to see the original lead actors in the roles that made RENT, RENT. Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal were both wonderful! I was also impressed with the actress who played Mimi. VEry Good! I am so glad we went!

This show was everything I hoped for and more. Adam and Anthony were absolutely fantastic, as well as the entire cast. I have seen this show multiple times, and I can see why those two are irreplaceable. I have never seen the show and had it feel so alive as it did when I saw it with those two in it. The crowd fed off their energy and talent. I do not want to sound like it was just them, the entire cast was amazing as well. Obviously it is just the meaning and connection they bring to the show that puts them over and above.

All I can say is that RENT was amazing. It helped very much though that I knew what it was about before I came. There are moments, though great, I probably wouldn't have understood had I not seen it on the movie. Anyhow, I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone interested.

I'm huge into broadway because I really get into the concept of music representing a story cause it's just such a pure testament to music itself, and I'm a huge junkie on music in general and I knew maybe a few songs from rent going into this! I've gotta say you should listen to the original broadway cast version before seeing this because with the complex storyline, you just may get confused and trust me, you want to know whats going on!!! But this show does NOT dissapoint, I've seen some big plays (all broadway) including my t-1st fav musical WICK'D (MUST SEE TO SAY YOUVE LIVED) and rent is tied for first! My friends think I'm crazy because I'm in a hardcore band and we're writing music and I always talk about broadway but it's plays like these that make me want to go to this more than a concert!! This is an absolute must see! I love rent and feel bad whenever I listen to the soundtrack cause I'm not there live lol! Do yourself a favor and see this! Plus the cast right now is ppppeeeerrrrffffeeeecccctttt (ESP Maureen ;) )

I first fell in love with RENT from the movie becasue I am only 19 and my family does not like musicals like my sister and I do. I go to ISU and I went to RENT here in Ames a couple of years ago and I loved it and jumped on the opportunity to see Anthony and Adam!
I was pleasently surprised to see that the same woman the sang "Seasons of Love" in the one I saw in Ames, she is OUTSTANDING and she was just the beginning. Everyone one in the show was very good, there was nothing I would have changed.

that will make you laugh, cry, and become attached to the characters and the life they are living. Anthony Rapp & Adam Pascal helped make Rent what it is today and it was they most amazing experience to see them live! By far one of my favorite musicals!!! Rent head for Life!

I took my Fiance who loved the movie. But had never seen it on stage. She didn't realize how much more there was to the stage performance from the movie. We both enjoyed it and would go again.

I had never seen Rent on Broadway before and wow, what a great first experience! I got to see the performance with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp which made the experience that much better. I've spent years listening to the music and watching the movie, but nothing compares to seeing it in person. I would recommend this show to anyone! Wonderful!

Rent was absolutely amazing. I became obsessed with the film a couple of months ago an just had to see it live. I drove 400 miles to see it and it was completely worth it. The actors each add their own touch to their characters which make it 10 times more hilarious and 10 times more emotional. If you are on the fence about seeing it or are just curious, I urge you to just go see it!

I thought Rent was a diffirent show because of the rock music and the issues involved. It may have had controversial topics such as aids, drugs and homosexuality. I think the idea of trying to get by and friendship was more prevalent than the issues.

The sound could have been better. At times the sound was simply was too loud to understand the dialogue. The actors would deliver their lines too quickly and much of the plot was lost from a combination of the two. If I didn't know the show inside and out I would have been lost. Other than the sound quality the show was simply amazing. I went in with the attitude that I wasn't going to be impressed by anyone except for Anthony and Adam. Boy was I wrong! Every cast member was spectacular! They are all very talented and their presence on stage was simply astounding. Nicolette Hart as Maureen worked the audience perfectly during her number 'Over the Moon'. The energy radiated from the stage to the audience and made the show even that more exciting.
