Bravo! I've wondered for years how this play could be modernized, as Romeo and Juliet and Midsummer Night's Dream have been. This was terrific--from the costumes to the set, and of course, the acting. The scenes excised, such as the last (storm) scene in Act I, & Portia's hand-wringing in Act II, Scene 4, were not missed. The set with the film strips were dramatic, particularly Caesar's "motorcade", the fight scenes, and the "fire" lit at the end.
The actors playing Caesar (Bjorn DuPaty), Mark Antony (Zachary Fine) and Brutus (William Sturdivant) were all very strong. This was "Shakespeare for a new generation."
