This show was great. i tend to go to a little more heavy variety of show, but this show was great. I have seen Dredg twice and they haven't disappointed me either time. They played a lot of old songs with some new material. But the thing that I enjoyed the most was the creative transition into the last song. The stage crew literally dismantled the drum set while the drummer was still playing. When they pulled is snair he turned to the side and started immediately playing the keyboard as his portion of the last song of the night. The RX Bandits also brought some creativity to the show with the entire band playing a drum solo together.

Dredg was on point. Best show I have ever seen them play by far. They played a good mix of songs from the new album, as well as older songs like Bug Eyes and Zebraskin. This is not unexpected as I have seen them before in various venues around Oregon. However RX Bandits were very good as well. They have a Sublime-ish sound but are very clean and polished sounding. Overall, I would give the show 5 stars.

it's too bad so few people dare to stray beyond what's played on mainstream radio. dredg is an amazing band and their live performance was everything i could have wanted it to be. instead of being confined to a definable genre or conforming to routine song arrangements they explore various tempos and styles throughout individual songs. this is one of their greatest strengths but also why they don't tend to write "catchy" songs... i consider myself a pretty big fan and will concede that some of their arrangements are lost on me but given the energy and fervor of the live show i found myself getting into the few songs i tend to skip while listening to their albums... and the songs i already loved just blew my mind! the only disappointment from the show was that their set didn't include "mourning the morning" from their new album and my girlfriend really wanted to hear it
