I did not like Letlive's performance and some of their music was unprofessionally presented and the content was relatively immature compared to more well-known bands.
As Cities Burn had great stage performance and was involved well with the crowd and adjusted behavior according to the crowd's reactions.
Mewithoutyou's performance was somewhat lacking in energy but, the way they performed their music was pleasing and easy to listen to. Even though the crowd was not very active during mewithoutyou's session of play, lots of people were bobbing their heads to the music and the band received decent applause.
UnderØath's performance was acceptable but a little on-edge according to the way they started each song. It was because of the energetic start to some songs that caused so many "mosh pits" and eager fans to just behave rampantly. The music was phenomenal, a lot of the songs sounded as if it was being played directly from an mp3 player or CD. Of course Spencer, the singer, is older now so the older tunes sounded different and I'm sure he planned to present them differently. The whole band was full of spirit and joy to be playing in the home state from which the band originated. The light show was very-well coordinated with the style of music played. Underoath was kind enough to give back to the fans by giving away some priceless treasures from a raffle. Chris and Tim sacrificed some instruments into the crowd. They showed their appreciation of fans by playing some of their pop tunes and because Spencer made stress relieving speeches. Also, the tickets were only $28!!!!!

Underoath's farewell show was incredible. They definitely picked the right venue to say farewell to the music scene as a group. Thirteen years of passion, dedication, and beautiful compositions were displayed in one cosmic moment. Special guest appearance by Aaron Gillespie to seperate St. Pete's show from the rest of the tour.

Underoath outdid themselves. I'd seen them before but this show was insane. They played the songs that got me into screamo music in the first place. Too bad this review doesn't mean anything because they only have one show left, ever. :(

venue was good; clean; lots of ushers; lots of room; drinks expensisve.
bands were great. being the finale tour for underoath the band and audience went all out. it was a highly energetic show. spencer of underoath had a few words to say about the bands end and he was near tearful.
overall a great show and experience.

The opening acts where uninspired and genuinely terrible. Underoath guitar tones sounded good but they seemed to not care and at times it felt like they'd rather be somewhere else. I guess for a farewell tour I expected more energy and a little more umph. The Sound Academy is a crummy venue and I wish promoters would stop booking there.

Good venue at Sound Academy, Letlive is crazy and fun groovecore. As Cities Burn had a lot more to offer than I expected. mewithoutYou was our big ticket show - they were very solid: their music and persona so original. Underoath was really bringing it. Haven't followed their last couple releases, but their music was intense and the show was pretty spectacular. Had a great roadtrip and concert with my best bud.

State Theater was a bit of a let down. I can appreciate the "up close and personal" feel with the bands, but there were no seats. Standing for 4 hours was a bit ridiculous. Security was good. Alot of people, and since we were all standing so close together, there was alot of body odor.

2nd band had some technical/sound issues that they could never resolve. Of all the opening bands, Chariot was the best even with sound issues.

Underoath was enjoyable, however since I had been standing for 3 hours next to alot of stinky people, I was ready for them to start and finish quickly.

Mosh pit was closely watched by security which was good. Only got one drink spilled on me, so I guess that wasn't bad.

Overall, liked the concept of the show/venue better than the implementation. Need some chairs and more ventilation.

My niece sat on a railing pillar and she absolutely loved the show, so it was worth it in the end.

I had some some love and respect for Underoath after Aaron left and advoided them for a year... I was a avid fan, I first saw them when I was 9 years old, so I grew up listening to them. But after some thoughts and talking to Aaron, I was excited to fall in love with them and give it a second shot. I'm so glad I did, it was an amazing show and I felt like a carefree kid again, I needed that escape and Spencer looked oh so sexy! Hahh! <3
