This was an amazing production! The entire performance was well rehearsed with obviously, professional and skilled people behind the scenes! The first two performers, Michael and Megan, were somewhat of a drag with unmemorable performances. It was apparent that they were 10 and 9 in the list of winners. But when Lil Rounds appeared, it took a huge turn in the professional level! She was fantastic. Scott was spectacular and has emerged from "shydom" and has a very strong and beautiful voice! Matt was tremendous and definitely has a huge career ahead of him, and even Anoop was great to watch and listen to. Allison was simply a hit!!! She is such a rock star and will go very far. But the STAR of the night, in my opinion, was Danny Gokey!! He was totally a success! So charismatic from the songs he chose, the dance moves he performed and the talk he gave! Madison just loved him! Adam had his own following and was good, and of course Kris was the Big Cheese. All in all, it was a wonderful show!

Outstanding performance by Adam Lambert!! He really rocked the palace and had the moves to go with it--a real Idol. American Idol found a real star with Adam. Matt G. really rolled the place--a really talented guy and so entertaining. I loved the sets with the dueling pianos--Matt and Scott. Scott was a real surprise--the best I've seen from him.
Chris showed some real rock too--another surprise. Allison worked the stage like a real rock star--another real talent. Disappointment with Danny. Anoop and Mike were good too. Lil is a real entertainer--I knew she had it in her. Could have left Megan at home--what was with the hair do.
The band was fabulous. The back up singers should be on stage as stars.
The show was well worth the price.

Just attended last night! Great show! First the band didn't override the performers, as a matter of fact they were great musicians in their own right, and sometimes the complementary activities were excellent (like Allison's baricuda performance). There were some suprises though, either these performers have improved or the setting with more band back up suited them; Scott, Michael, and Danny all sounded way better live than on the show. Interestingly Matt didn't. Adam was phenominal and Kris just alright. My fav was Mad world and Slow ride (duet), but there were some other performances like Allison's that ran a close second. The lighting was good, and the sound was excellent.

The most wonderful thing of all was the crowd! I was amazed to see young kids to old people all being polite and having fun, you don't see that at most concerts.

for the people with upcomming tour dates, the concert was about 3.5 hours....you get your money's worth...

It was an exceptional season for the American Idols, and the 2009 tour was no exception. The top 10 from Season 8 hit the Arco Arena stage in style. It was the first concert I have been to where people of all age groups attended - from 3 to 93, everyone enjoys the Idols. They don't get a lot of little old ladies at Ozzfest. Anyway, the contestants, all of them, I think performed better than on the show -- no pressure, no Simon Cowell or other judges to stress over -- and it showed. They were all amazing, even the two I could care less about (Michael Sarver and Lil Rounds, these two could be any two random other singers). Adam was, of course, fabulous. He opened with Whole Lotta Love, and did a great David Bowie tribute. Kris Allen and Danny Gokey were great. Alison was absolutely awesome, and her duet with Adam for Slow Ride was even better than on the show. Would love for these two to put out a duet CD, they are both exceptional rockers. Loved the finally with all of them singing Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. But my favorite, by far, was Matt Giraud, who I think was eliminated far too early in the competition (he ended in 5th place). Matt could be the next Justin Timberlake. I especially loved when Matt and Scott MacIntyre played dueling pianos on Billy Joel's Tell Her About It and again for the opening of the Don't Stop Believin' finale. All in all, great show.

The concert was alot of fun. We are big fans of the show, not sure if a "non fan" would have enjoyed it as much as we did. They are even better in person than on TV!

I could not wait to see the concert! There were so many of the top 13 that I loved! I'll start at the beginning, with Michael. He is handsome and sings so sweetly. Megan, I love her voice because it is unique! Anoop is very smooth. It was so wonderful to have Scott and Matt dual-pianoing! I liked Matt much better on tour than on the show. He has a great voice and is a great performer. Lil is so much better than anyone realizes! She can sing! I wish the best for her. Now Allison, she is a fantastic rocker! I really loved her singing. Especially when she and Adam sang the duet. That was fantastic! I hope they sing together on each others albums (CDs). She is way beyond her years. Danny, wow! He has an awesome voice and great personality! I hope he soars to the top with Allison and Adam. Then there was Kris. He is so, so sweet and innocent. I love to listen to him sing ballads. He is good, but my pounding heart is taken by Adam. ADAM, ADAM, ADAM!!! What can I say??? He is unreal!! A true rocker inside and out. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED MAD WORLD!! THAT WAS THE SONG THAT SHOULD HAVE WON THE TITLE FOR HIM! ADAM, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR OWN MUSIC IN NOVEMBER!!!!!! One small hint for future, when the stage is so dark and smoky, it is hard to take pictures. I would also have liked to see new songs by the last five standing from the show. That's it! Too bad, because I would love to see some of these "winners" on IDOL stick together for new shows. I would be ecstatic!!

We really enjoyed the show and it was well worth the money. We go every year and always have a great time. The only reason we gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was that we really felt Adam's performance was inappropriate for a show in which children were in the audience. Idol is a family show and his suggestive use of the microphone stand and his throwing of a whip into the audience to a young girl were uncalled for. The other performers were FANTASTIC!! Can't wait for next year.

I had a awesome time if you needed any help there was plenty of people to show you where you needed to go. I will say it was a little hot. I did have awesome seats lighting was awesome easy getting into and out. I will be back next year. It was a awesome show. I would recommend this to bunches of people................

I was pumped up to see Kris Allen perform and was completely devastated when he came out at intermission to announce he was too sick to sing. I hate the way the Idol concerts are lately - it used to be random performers but now they sing in the order in which they were voted off. There's no spontaneity to it.

I really liked the countdown format. I wish there were more Adam tho.
Only real complaint, Please do allow posters. I had floor seats and between people standing and posters it was hard to see. Posters should not be allowed and ushers should ask people to stay seated. Loved the show tho!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The lighting was great, there were no noticable errors in the performance and the sound quality was good. Best of all, Adam was there!

The show was so much better then I thought it would be. Most of the singers were better then on the show. My only let down was Alison, I love her but She did not sing as well on stage as she did on the show. I hope it was just an off night for her cause I am so looking forward to her "own" music. Danny was very moving. Great Great show. Will go again next year!

The show was absolutely amazing!!! GO ADAM! He rocks, and that is who we went for. BUT! Pretty much, all we wanted to see was Adam(Dont get me wrong, everyone else was amazing as well) and when he was on we couldnt see. Im not a tall person, so being on the floor was not a good thing, and also all of the rude people who have no consideration for anyone else, all came down and made it harder to see. I really wish that the ushers and/or bouncers, were more aggressive with keeping people in their seats. We pay good money for these tickets, and it is really very unfortunate that we werent able to see. Otherwise, the facility was beautiful, and the show was unbelievable!!!

The American Idol Tour was GREAT!!! All ten of the American Idols were fantastic. They are true performers who interact with the audience and put on a fabulous concert. The entire production was exciting and energetic.
