My girls and I were very excited and anxious for the concert to begin, and they did not disappoint. From the beginning to the end we enjoyed every moment. Erica's solo performance was beautiful. Allyse rocked the house, and Joshua knocked it out of the park with "A Man's World". But the main one we wanted to see was Colton Dixon, and he did a magnicent performance with his new single "Never Gone". He truly is an inspiration! I hate to leave anyone out, because they were all great! It was very special to be in Phillip Phillips' hometown for this concert. Everything led up to his debut at the end. He sang with every ounce of his being, and we truly enjoyed every moment, especially "Home". Thanks for a great night!

This was an amazing production! The entire performance was well rehearsed with obviously, professional and skilled people behind the scenes! The first two performers, Michael and Megan, were somewhat of a drag with unmemorable performances. It was apparent that they were 10 and 9 in the list of winners. But when Lil Rounds appeared, it took a huge turn in the professional level! She was fantastic. Scott was spectacular and has emerged from "shydom" and has a very strong and beautiful voice! Matt was tremendous and definitely has a huge career ahead of him, and even Anoop was great to watch and listen to. Allison was simply a hit!!! She is such a rock star and will go very far. But the STAR of the night, in my opinion, was Danny Gokey!! He was totally a success! So charismatic from the songs he chose, the dance moves he performed and the talk he gave! Madison just loved him! Adam had his own following and was good, and of course Kris was the Big Cheese. All in all, it was a wonderful show!

Outstanding performance by Adam Lambert!! He really rocked the palace and had the moves to go with it--a real Idol. American Idol found a real star with Adam. Matt G. really rolled the place--a really talented guy and so entertaining. I loved the sets with the dueling pianos--Matt and Scott. Scott was a real surprise--the best I've seen from him.
Chris showed some real rock too--another surprise. Allison worked the stage like a real rock star--another real talent. Disappointment with Danny. Anoop and Mike were good too. Lil is a real entertainer--I knew she had it in her. Could have left Megan at home--what was with the hair do.
The band was fabulous. The back up singers should be on stage as stars.
The show was well worth the price.

Just attended last night! Great show! First the band didn't override the performers, as a matter of fact they were great musicians in their own right, and sometimes the complementary activities were excellent (like Allison's baricuda performance). There were some suprises though, either these performers have improved or the setting with more band back up suited them; Scott, Michael, and Danny all sounded way better live than on the show. Interestingly Matt didn't. Adam was phenominal and Kris just alright. My fav was Mad world and Slow ride (duet), but there were some other performances like Allison's that ran a close second. The lighting was good, and the sound was excellent.

The most wonderful thing of all was the crowd! I was amazed to see young kids to old people all being polite and having fun, you don't see that at most concerts.

for the people with upcomming tour dates, the concert was about 3.5 hours....you get your money's worth...

It was an exceptional season for the American Idols, and the 2009 tour was no exception. The top 10 from Season 8 hit the Arco Arena stage in style. It was the first concert I have been to where people of all age groups attended - from 3 to 93, everyone enjoys the Idols. They don't get a lot of little old ladies at Ozzfest. Anyway, the contestants, all of them, I think performed better than on the show -- no pressure, no Simon Cowell or other judges to stress over -- and it showed. They were all amazing, even the two I could care less about (Michael Sarver and Lil Rounds, these two could be any two random other singers). Adam was, of course, fabulous. He opened with Whole Lotta Love, and did a great David Bowie tribute. Kris Allen and Danny Gokey were great. Alison was absolutely awesome, and her duet with Adam for Slow Ride was even better than on the show. Would love for these two to put out a duet CD, they are both exceptional rockers. Loved the finally with all of them singing Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. But my favorite, by far, was Matt Giraud, who I think was eliminated far too early in the competition (he ended in 5th place). Matt could be the next Justin Timberlake. I especially loved when Matt and Scott MacIntyre played dueling pianos on Billy Joel's Tell Her About It and again for the opening of the Don't Stop Believin' finale. All in all, great show.

American Idol Live was an awesome concert! Great sound, lights, & performances.

The only disappointment was waiting outside for autographs (in the pouring rain) for way too long before being notified that the performers would not be coming out after all! I had a very tired, cold, & wet 4-year old waiting to see Colton & get his autograph, only to be disappointed. And, a ruined program that I had just paid $20/$25 for.

I loved the show but as always would love to see my favorites more. My daughter was disappointed when she only got two autographs because of the rain. The session was cancelled after it started raining. Too bad they can't set something up inside so this doesn't happen.

The show had its ups and downs. I was not impressed with Skyler and I was really
disappointed in Phillip Phillips.All in all I really liked the duets and group numbers.
To my surprise I also really like Holli Cavanaugh.

I enjoyed this concert. The seats were good, sound was satisfactory, although at times, voices could not be heard over the instrumentation.

Philip Phillips was saved for last -- great job.

I would like to see more of Joshua!

This year they done it a little differently. They usually do from 10 to #1 but they mixed it up a little. I would love to see a little more of group songs, that was lacking this year. They all did a wonderful job except Heejun did not belong in the top 10. He cant sing. I so look forward watching American Idol on tv and especially going to see them in concert. Phillip I love you and I hope your career takes off.

Poor song choices for all stars. We wanted to hear what they sang during the competition as advertised. Every person sang rock or rap and screamed and tossed their hair around. We were very disappointed this year compared to last year and will not purchase tickets again!

The bad was SO LOUD you could hardly hear the singers. I hated the dizzying videos and spotlights that kept shining in my eyes. Light the stage, not the audience!

Enjoyed every performer immensely. The band rocked all night. What a great performance by so many talented entertainers. I'm sure they will all enjoy their success in their newly found careers. I believe that 3 months had lapsed between the American Idol finals and this show. I had forgotten how amazing these young singers are- especially Holly, Jennifer, Colton and Phillip. They were my favorites. It was very difficult to select a favorite from these singers.
They brought back memories of why I voted for them in the first place. They were fantastic- what great voices!
