My husband and I are musicians and we pay attention to current music. We stumbled on Joe Bonamassa on a DirecTV special and he blew us away. I signed up for the web site fan club, downloaded "Dust Bowl," and on learning he was playing a Saturday night in November at the Beacon Theater, I bought tickets. I have never had more fun at a concert where I didn't know most of the songs. Tune after tune, guest after guest, Joe played some of the tastiest music I've heard. That this guy has recorded 12 albums and had no "hits" borders on criminal. He should be up there with Eric Clapton and John Mayer.

Awsome was the word heard most when folks were leaving the show. Joe has such command of his many guitars and can cover other's songs as well as make great music himself. His finger work, especially on the accustic guitar, is some of the best you'll see. Having Bobby Parker join him on stage for a couple numbers was also a treat. How Joe can keep up his frenetic pace for the whole 2+ hours is hard to imagine.

The Joey B calls from the mezzanine were as funny as they were poorly timed (during a quiet ballad piece), and you can't blame Joe since he was in essence playing to his hometown crowd who had all made the trip down from upstate NY. But don't let that stop you for even a second from going to see Mr. Bonamassa when he comes to your town. He is truly an exceptional talent at the top of his craft, and as good as any you'll ever see. It doesn't matter whether or not you like the blues. You just have to like music. From the acoustic set at the top of the show, to the hair raising full on electric rock set, every moment was amazing. And if Joe wasn't enough, his bandmates are equally amazing in their own rights.

Joe is an amazing artist, first time I heard about Joe was from my nephew which has been playing guitar since he was a young kid. When I heard Joe's music I was hooked and this is my first time seen Joe play live which was worth every cent.

Every time I see Joe, his performances only get better and better and this night at the Beacon was his best ever! He is the most skilled guitarist I have ever seen and truly passionate about his art. Watching the crowd leave the theater, one cannot escape the sea of ear to ear smiles and/or jaw dropping gazes. Although Joe has been around for a while and tirelessly tours, recognition of his talent has only just begun. I recommend that anyone see this amazing, passionate and skilled blues guitar artist whenever thay can.

Everyone at this point likely knows how amazing Joe B is. This show, just as all others, was awesome. My only issue was that I wish they would play longer than 2 hours and also wish people would have gotten up and out of their seats more....it's uncanny how nearly all the people at the show remained in their seats even at the most rockin' moments (and on a Saturday night to boot). No matter what... Gotta check him out

Jellyroll was my favorite of thee acoustic set. The energy of the band through out thee entire show was amazing. A Jon Lord like keyboard solo in The Ballad of John Henry only added to experience.

Joe Bonamassa is one helluva blues man! It was an amazing show all around with incredible performances by Joe and the members of his band. Carmine and Tal were rockin' the place, too! And Rick (our first time to see him) -- man, he was smokin' his keyboard! Looking forward to watching the band again in the near future.

Awesome concert as always. Joe is such a great guitar player. This was my third Bonamassa concert, second one at the Beacon Theater. Was there last year. My only negative review would be that the music would drown out the vocals on some songs. Not sure if it was the Beacon's sound system or Joe's sound mixer. Other than that I had a great time with my two daughters who also enjoyed the show. Can't wait for the next one.
