it was definitely a must see! It was great to be there, but disappointing to see that the stands were not full. People need to get out and support hockey as well as Basketball

Mankato's arena is pretty small, which means there really isn't a bad seat in the place. I was almost in the top row and way on the end and it was still just fine. My only complaints would be that the concessions are pretty limited and they don't have any instant replay capability. Parking was easy and reasonably priced.

People were in my seats both nights, Ushers weren't checking tickets. Concessions were awesome, and beer booths were great. Need more stalls in bathrooms. Seats were comfortable

The Mavs put up a good fight against the defending National Champion Bulldogs and skated to a 4 - 4 tie.
This was the first year that I attended a Mavericks game in Mankato. In fact, this was my forth game so far. I have to admit that I really enjoy the atmosphere. For example, the Mavs have a competitive team, the venue is decent, you can find free parking, the fans are knowledgeable (yet not snobs like Gopher fans), tickets are very reasonably priced, and you gotta love their Ole! chant after they score.
If you live around the twin cities and you're sick of all the peacocks on parade at Mariucci, give Mankata a try.

Games were great except the fact that cow bells were rung in my ear all night. That is totally disrespectful to fans around them. If they only rang them when goals are scored it wouldn't be a problem, But to ring them to tick me off was absurd and uncalled for. Noisemakers are not allowed in most arenas for this reason. MSU please help.
