Kentucky (UK) never ceases to amaze me! This fanbase is unlike any other in any sport in any part of the world. This Gameday proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt and sets the standard for all fanbases. Whether you like UK or not, you have to appreciate this fanbase. You have to appreciate that 23,000 families/fans will get up at 7am on a Saturday and attend a 1 hour taping of Gameday just to support their team. Just to let you know how great this fanbase is, did you know that about 75% of the 23,000 fans probably drove over 2 hours from different parts of the state just to attend this Gameday event? Did you know that 95% of the fans that attended Gameday didnt even have tickets for the actual game? So all in all, between gameday and game, over 40,000 fans attended! Also, you better believe that had more been able to get in for the game they would so the actual number of fans that wanted to attend and would have attended would probably be something for record books. The NBA All-Star game is talking about breaking records with 150,000 fans showing up but do you even realize that if the University of Kentucky could somehow have an arena that sit this many people, they would set records unheard of. It would be quite interesting to see what number it would top out at with unlimited seating. People just have no idea. I thought I knew until Gameday, but I didnt. This particular Gameday should be in record books. Yesterday at Gameday, we, the University of Kentucky fans, made HISTORY!!!

Best Night Ever! Besides the fact that the game was AWESOME .. I enjoyed watching everyone in the student section and all the action going on at halftime and during all the time outs was just as fun! UK fans are the best! Everyone in that stadium was pumped and loud and excited .. you can't have a bad night in that environment! GO BIG BLUE!

The view from our seats was great! We got there about an hour before the game, got right through security with no problems at this event. Had plenty of time to walk around and look at things!

The seats were not what I ordered. My fault for not reviewing the confirmation. The seat locations were horrible: second row from the top. The air was hot and we had a better view of the ceiling rafters than the game. We left before the end of the first period. This was our first UK game. It was a disaster. Cost of tickets, hour and half drive to Lexington, $20 parking, lunch before game and terrible seats. It doesn't get any worse.

It was SO GREAT to finally see a live game! The whole arena was so full of energy!! Our seats were pretty high up but we could see everything with no problems! If you haven't been to a Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball game in Rupp Arena, you're surely missing out! We're hoping to get to at least one more home game before the end of the season!

Watching my Wildcats is an amazing experience, no matter where they go. It's unlike any other sporting event and it's held in such high regard.
However, what took the cake for me was Rupp Arena itself. We had the Upper Arena tickets, right up there high in the bleachers. All I had to say is that for a basketball team so prestigious in history, it should be an immediate must to upgrade that arena. Give the Big Blue faithful some actual chairs rather than having us crammed together shoulder to shoulder like we're sardines. Kentucky fans are unlike any other and we deserve the best to celebrate our Cats!!!

This was actually a Christmas present for my husband. He and his brother went to the game. He really had a wonderful experience seeing the Wildcats in person. It was well worth the effort.
