A great experience. The folk, both participants and visitors, were friendly and good natured. There was lots to see and lots to do,
BUT....
During my three day visit, I never got to taste one RIB! There was plenty of brisket, pulled/chopped pork, even fried fish.

No RIBS !

The event advertised that the public was welcome at 12 noon. We purchased the tickets, which also said the event opened at 12 noon. We arrived about 12:30. There was very, very little set up for the public. And, I bet you already knew that! My guess is the vendors are set up around 3pm with food and selling display booths ready by then. So, here's a suggestion: OPEN AT 3 PM WHEN EVERYONE IS READY FOR THE PUBLIC!
We wasted the $80 for 4 tickets, plus the $20 to park.
