This Requiem is performed so infrequently, we travelled 600 miles to hear it performed. And it was worth every minute on the road! The choir was amazingly effective, and the four soloists absolutely perfect...especially the Polish-Canadian soprano. The orchestra, too, outdid themselves in front of an enthusiastic crowd, which included a large part of the Ottawa diplomatic corps.
