This was a good a production of this wonderful Broadway musical as we've seen--gritty but thoughtful, moving but enjoyable. The set, which represents both Cervantes' prison and Don Quixote's castle/Aldonza's inn was no less than superb, and the cast moved well around it, making use of all its nooks and crannies. The cast was all terrific...not a weak performance from the bunch. Kudos to Light Opera Works for another terrific production.
