We went to a live performance of Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" for American Public Radio. It was magical: two hours watching a live broadcast with an audience enjoying every minute of it. Great music, sketches, songs, comedy and, of course, a perfect weekly story from Lake Wobegon, funny, sad and in the end, optimistic.
We booked well in advance and got good central seats, and we saw a long queue on the night for last minute tickets, where some would be disappointed, so book early.
