Playboy Jazz Festival was fantastic as usual. We went on Saturday. Once again, the bowl was outta control. If you've never been, make it a point to attend at least once. If you have, see you again next year.

We went on Saturday, I was exited to see Sharon Jones perform and she did not disappoint. All all the acts were top notch. Loved Sheila E, she killed it!! First year at the festival. Definitely making it an annual thing

This was me and my husbands first time and it will not be our last...it was he** getting to the event even via shuttle but once inside and at our seats the atmosphere was awesome. Everyone is there to have a good time listening to some jazz, eating good food and drinking some wine or whatever, great great event! Go Boney James and Sheila E

We loved the music. Wish we had arrived earlier since it started at 3:00.
People in our section saw it as more a social event, so the sound was not as good until the last few acts when some people moved out.

This was my first Playboy Jazz Festival in 25 years and it did not disappoint. I was excited to be able to see Bill's last hosting appearance and was not disappointed. The acts were wonderful, a great mix of styles and groups overall. I was excited to see Terri Lynne Carrington's Mosaic Project, excited to see GIRLS IN THE HOUSE:). But...
Ms Carrington's choice of having Angela Davis speak on behalf of black men today was like a bucket of cold water, not entirely warranted on such a beautiful afternoon; I agree her point was very well-taken and yes, I would agree that most likely more black men are incarcerated today than were officially enslaved in 1850, but I did not pay to hear her opinion.
It is for that reason that I can not in all good consciousness give the festival an amazing rating; the rest of it was truly amazing and I thank Mr. Hefner for his hard work in acquiring such wonderful acts.
Just when can we get back Naturally Seven??

The Hollywood Bowl is fun venue since they treat people like adults and allow coolers to be brought in. Being able to b.y.o.b. and snacks makes the event affordable to all and the line up of great performers is second to none.

I had such a great time! The music was great from beginning to end! Every single band was great! The restrooms were clean and roomy. The benches were little cramped but we still had a good time. I took the PArk and Ride from LAkewood! The buses were waiting for us when we got there. We were able to board the bus right away and we left on time. In fact, when we were ready to leave the buses were also waiting for us. And actually, we were initially told that the buses would leave at the end of the show at 10:45. We decided to walk out a little early and so they allowed people to board the bus around 10 and once the bus was full, we were allowed to leave :) ......PArk and Ride was a great deal for $5 a person!

I took my boyfriend for his birthday and Father's Day. He had such a wonderful time, sitting out in the open and listening to jazz. He was able to see some of his old time friends and meet new ones. It was a great day at the Hollywood Bowl

We were glad we had the chance to see Bill Cosby! We enjoyed all the bands and the music was incredible! This was our first time at the Hollywood Bowl. Looking around the stands, Everyone was having good time. Overall experience was Great! Can't wait for next year! Planning another event in the near future.
