I have rarely enjoyed a featured performance more than Karin Bliznik's trumpet performance of Haydn' s Trumpet Concerto. Every note was right on and so melodic to my ear. She is a true gem.

The Charleston Symphony is a great orchestra and always performs to the highest standards. The music is always played perfectly.
Karin Bliznik, the trumpet soloist and principal trumpet,is a world class performer whose musicality and tremendous technical ability make her performance unforgettable.
It was a great evening of music.

We had a wonderful evening at the Bond, James Bond event! We brought our two preteens who also thoroughly enjoyed the show. Stuart Malina was wonderfully funny, we loved all the James Bond trivia, and Hilary Cole was talented and gorgeous! Thank you to Charleston Symphony for bringing such an interesting and entertaining evening to Charleston!

The music was amazing, Maestro Stahl is truly an artist. The chorus was at least 150 strong backing up the two leads. I would highly recommend this event, it was a great rendition of a true classic.

The vocalists had such energy, emotion and connection and were as much fun to watch as to listen to. Porgy & Bess was a great program for the season opener and great fun for the audience.

I thought the performers were top notch and I enjoyed every second. It was obvious that David Stahl (The Director) was emersed in the performance and the results showed through all of the musicians and the singers.

I would say this was Porgy and BEST, because the performance was so wonderful. I would have liked a longer show, and to have heard more from these wonderful performers.

What a wonderful event! Beautiful music played expertly; outstanding performances by soloists in roles as Porgy and Bess, and by the CSO Chorus.
The auditorium was completely filled with lovely guests of all ages: elderly to students.
The only inconvenience was getting in and out of the parking garage...it took quite awhile with the record attendance.

Orchestra and Choral group were amazing. So perfectly balanced. The two lead performers were excellent and provided a memorable evening. I just wish it had been longer.

Very enjoyable. Had a little trouble with lead male projection but he made up for it with his interpretation of the character. Female lead voice was great. Choir added a lot to the experience.
