Thought it was a great idea to have the game at Reliant. Need to keep prices (ticket, parking, food) in check so families can attend and really enjoy the afternoon. Some fans (SHSU) didn't realize which side they needed to sit on when they bought their tickets -- most were fun, good natured, and just wanted to enjoy a good game, but others were rude and annoying.

It was amazing attending the first Battle in our own Reliant Stadium. Made the even that much more spectacular. It was fantastic seeing a sea of purple and orange in the stadium. Truly a remarkable event! Look forward to going to it every year!

I graduated in 2006, and I have been talking about going back and seeing the games since then. I loved that it was in reliant it is closer to my home and a bigger space to accommodate all the purple and white!!! Will go again next year if it is in Houston again!!!

The game was amazing. Touchdowns, interceptions, fumbles...everything! There were so many people in orange and purple. SFA won by three points. We'll get them next year!

Game was really good (SFA won, naturally!), Reliant Stadium is really nice, and the fans on both sides were good natured rivalries. They had tailgating of both teams side by side and as far as I know, nothing major happened.
Both bands were particularly good,too.

Finally, a game pitting two schools, Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston, with big Houston alumni bases against each other in a neutral location. It certainly lived up to its billing and all those in attendance had a good time. Too bad one of the teams had to lose, but I'm glad it wasn't mine.

I have not been to an SFA game in over 20 years. It was great to have a game in Houston. The crowd was terrific and the band was excellent. I took my son and two of his friends and we all had a great time.
I will certainly be back next year.

this was a great experience for anyone who attended. Good game and well mannered crowd. I invite everyone to come experience a good college football up close and personal. Can't wait for next years game. Great venue.

Event looks like it was planned well.
I was not aware of the tents, food and festivies planned on the grounds unlate a few days before the game so it would have been nice to have been informed more in advance.

The game this past Saturday (10/23) between SFA and SHSU was very entertaining. I would recommend the same venue for future games between these two schools. Highly recommended

The seating was fantastic, the game was great. We enjoyed Division 2 football with Division 1 excitement! "I'LL BE BACK........" Easy parking, in and out with minimul delay.

It was nice to see old friends and mingle atop the concession area. The view was cool too! The tickets were purchased that morning online and it was no problem picking them up at Will Call. Such convenience!

It was a great event. People were pumped up and the statium was very nice. I feel it adds alot to the schools who are able to come and play and gives a chance for Alumni who cant always make back to the school to share and be part of school events.
I am sure the schools benefited financially.

The Game was awesome, I am definetly going next year as well. I go to SHSU, and yet the kats put a hell of a fight, sfa won. The score went back and forth, yet sfa had no running game at all and SHSU defense cordinator sucked horribly, it was a classic rival game. I sat in the dead middle of SFA terretory in all orange, fans were NOT MEAN, very freindly as in no fighting or aggression or disrespectful. Very fun game and very enjoyable as always.

The rivalry will continue as it should, overall a great game! The spirit from both sides was felt throughout Reliant. It was wonderful to see the new students and alumni from both schools and it was good to see all the future lumberjacks and bearcats attending with thier family dressed in school colors. Tailgating was fun, friendly and orderly. We loved the venue and hope it will be the same place next year!
