Pre-game music was very loud and obnoxious.

Great overall fun experience. Concession stand food wasn't great and bathrooms were horrible. Men's room still has the old horse trough style for peeing. I thought this went out in the 60s.

I think this game was awesome! I could not have had a better time! It was great weather, great game, and great ticket price! I would definitely go again!

NIU's football stadium provides a good view of the action, pretty much anywhere you sit....good quality football, for tickets that run between $20-$30 apiece, which is very reasonable.....good parking nearby....a good all around experience

Although the weather was bad the game it self was very good. Northern Illinois was in control from the start and the outcome never seemed in doubt. The seats were good but we had to stand the whole game as the people in front of us refused to sit down, but I guess that's what you get in the student section.

Went with my son, Jered, who attends NIU. Sunny but cool day. We sat close to the band. Game was great....NIU won. Band was full of spirit.

I am a KU fan so was bummed we left. I am not a huge fan of the stadium as it reminded me a little more like a high school rather than college stadium. I have not been to many D2 stadiums though.

I like the fact that NIU has been given opportunities to play at Soldier Field, I think their football program deserves it. I believe this was their third game there in the last 5 years, but this was the only one where I felt the traffic managers and parking was a complete mess! How can a city like Chicago and a stadium like Soldier Field be so unorganized? It was a 2:30pm game, my group got down there at 10:50am in hopes of parking and tailgating. Last year, when NIU played Wisconsin, we did the same thing with no problems. This year, the main south lot was "coupons" only, and we were paying cash again. The signs they had on Lake Shore Drive didn't help, and if you followed the signs, they led you nowhere to park. Three times I asked a traffic official where we needed to go, and three times we got different answers that were wrong. We spent an hour driving around the stadium and all of the museums there, and when we finally got to a distant outside parking lot (that we were told we could go to) the attendant said it was full! We had to settle ( and were lucky) to find parking in an underground parking garage, but we couldn't tailgate or grill our food, and we were away from all of the live outdoor action. We were very disappointed. The rest of the event was fine.

Came from Peoria(downstate) and was involved with the Notre Dame high school band. My daughter and her husband from Bryon, Il met me to watch my other daughter in the band. Enjoyed the game. The Huskies were great! The mascot and cheerleaders were fun and excited....and we were among student body that behaved very well.
Glad we went! I purchased 3 tickets in this area.

A great MAC vs Big Ten matchup. This was the third year in a row that a game like this has been played at Soldier Field. NIU could have used more fan support. Almost all of the 52,000 fans were Iowa Hawkeye fans. I got sick from seeing so much yellow in the stands. The Score pack was great. My family and I got to see great football game at a good price. Special thanks to the Score radio station for making this happen. I will definitely mark my schedule for next years matchup. Being the first time to Soldier Field, I didn't know what to expect. We thought that every seat in the stadium seems to be good. The stadium seemed to be much more confined than imagined.

It's football and it's college football at Soldier Field. I had a great view of the city and the game on the field was amazing. I highly recommend getting out to see a college game.

The atmosphere was awesome on Saturday at Soldier Field, but one thing that was terrible was the sound system. You couldn't hear anything the whole game, and what you did hear was nothing but static. Would have been nice to hear the referees and the announcer. But, overall it was awesome, and the Hawks came out on top! Go Hawks!

Soldier Field is a terrible venue. PA System did not work at all for the first half--and the sound was muffled in the 2nd half (think Charlie Brown's teacher). On top of that, the Parking in the South Lot is overpriced for what you get, which is the privilege to stand in line for 5 Porta-Potties for the entire lot, so you end up paying $54 to stand in line for 45 minutes! Not cool. The quality of the concessions also leaves a lot to be desired. I've been to a lot of games in professional and college stadiums...I know what good "game food" tastes like--and the food at Soldier Field is not up to par.

We had a great time at Soldier Field watching the Iowa Hawkeyes play against Northern Illinois. It was a great venue. There's a lot of history at Soldier Field and it was fun getting to experience some of it.
