M & T Bank Stadium is really nice, with excellent video screens at each end. Wonderful to have the downtown stadium location, an easy walk from the Sheraton Inner Harbor. The pre-game Hospitality tent that was included in our ticket package was really nice. Seating available inside or outside of the tent. The shade inside was helpful on the warm, sunny day. Really good food and drink and plenty of it. I believe the tents opened thirty minutes before the stadium gates opened.
Our seats were in section 228 on the club level, around the 30 yard line. We were always in the shade for the 4pm game, the sun was at our back. Bathrooms and concessions very nearby. The very first row of the section has a railing in front of the seats. It appeared to me that the line of sight "might" be affected on the first row by the metal railing... you have to either sit straight up to see over the bars or scrunch down to see through the bars. I'm not positive about that, but that is how it appeared. The second and third row of that section appear to have been added onto a raised metal platform floor. All of the other rows, except these two, are bolted down to the cement. Row 3 has a wall behind it and row 4 starts the rest of the main section. There are about 20 seats per row. Seat one begins closest to the 50 yard line in this section. The seats were comfortable and each seat has a shallow cup holder at the end of the armrest.
Maryland band was really good.
Everyone should try to attend a home game at a service academy. The pre-game march-on is an event you will not forget. The fly-overs are very cool too!
