The actually rodeo was good. However, it started 45 min late and the actual rodeo events did not start for an hour and a half after the original time. Also, there was too much time in between each event. We left early. But it was a good show once it got going and would recommend it other than the time issue.

I had an amazing time at the Bill Pickett Rodeo.
The events were fantastic.

As usual, the rodeo was great! It did start a little late, but it was worth the wait. My only concern, one that I had not experience to quite this degree, was the amount of people standing at the fences blocking the view of the audience. I remember security moving people along at past events. Moving those people would have been helpful for those of us sitting in the first few rows.
I recommend this event for anyone interested in rodeo. For those who are not generally interested in rodeo, this event will make you a fan! Yeee hah!!!!!!

I have never been to a rodeo show in my life, I enjoy the heck out the show. I had a great time and will return when there a show in area.

This was the first time I have ever been to a rodeo. I watch it on television all the time. Nothing comes close to what I witness on 9/24. All I can say is I will see yall again.

I and my god son attended the rodeo and he was amazed by all he saw. I believe that evening he will remember forever. He is only three year's old but to see him stand and clap for each performance is a memory for myself as well. I have had the oportunity to ride all over the world by being X military so I know the joy of it. Thank you for helping me show him the one of the finer things in life!

I think this is a great event, what might help is more advertisement, and event door prize to the next Bill pickett Rodeo.
I think also a little story of how the rodeo started who Bill Pickett was and educationally for children and adults who do not even know who Bill Pickett is. Sometimes you don't know the history behind the event. This must be done at every Rodeo.

I loved the Bill Pickett Rodeo. I was very excited and watching the cowboys and cowgirls kept me on the edge of my seat. I did not know that I would get that caught up in the excitement. I also took my five year old grandson. I wanted him to know that "Black Cowboys and Cowgirls are for Real". I watched a lot of cowboy pictures as a child and never saw a Black cowboy. I promised my grandson that next year he could participate in Calf Scramble (where the children chase the calf around the arena).

This event was a good family event. The vendors at this function were very pleasant and had reasonable prices for rodeo souvenirs. It was great to meet the people from the show afterwards. I wish i would have went to this event last year. The rodeo inspires you to want to learn how to ride horses. The horses were beautiful and the riders spectacular. I will go again next year!!
