I enjoyed everything! I wish Rickey would have told a few more jokes. However, I would go again because the voices of the men were beautiful.

The concert was enjoyable but, I would have appreciated hearing more from Eric Benet and more laughing with Rickey Smiley.

In needed more Rickey Smiley but the show was great. Eric Benet sang with such emotion I felt every word not just heard them but felt them... I'm in love.... Avant was good as well but Eric was the best.., I laughed so hard it hurt.. I just wish I could have met them,, next time I will sell a kidney for front row seats., plain and simple I loved the show

Rickey Smiley was a good host but chuckled at his own jokes too much,

The concert was amazing. The Concert did not get the notoriety that it should have gotten had it had a real pomoter. It was not advertised like the other events going in Chicago on that weekend. It started on time and each one of them Rickey Smiley, Eric Benet and Avant were great!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it. You got your monies worth.

Both singers were very good vocally. The show was okay though. I thought it would be bigger. I was hoping for more of the comedy act. So I thought the show was "Average" but "unfair". Since the advertisement had Rickey Smiley's name first I thought he would be doing most of the show. Seems like there should have been more comedy and less music. Again, music was decent, but the show was not balanced.

Avant was the only good act on this show. I would have liked a partial refund. Rickey Smiley did not perform he was just a "host"

I really enjoyed Mother's Day Love and Laughter concert. Rickey was hilarious (as usual). Eric and Avant were the BEST! Took my Mom and she had a wonderful time as well.
My parents live in the south and the last time they saw RIckey, Mom said he wasn't as funny as this time. Thank you Rickey for stepping it up for the Chi.

This was my first time to attend a standup comedy performance and I must say the show was fantastic!!! I love Rickey Smiley hands down! He is a very talented comedian. The entire lineup was great and I was thoroughly pleased with everyone. BIG thanks to my special friend who made it all happen!!! I look forward to seeing Rickey live once again. Until then, I'll continue to get my daily dose of laughter with the morning show :-)

I honestly loved the show, had me laughing so hard. Haven't laugh that hard in years, Rickey was fantastic and so was Special K and Jay as well, the show was so funny I was laughing the next day.

We had a fabulous time!! I think Rickey was truly born to make people LAUGH...he's just NATURALLY funny! Though every moment was enjoyable, there was something extra special about Lil-JJ...he needs a check! LOL... Rickey and his friends had us "crying blood" as always!! Straight BOOTLEGGED!!!!Talk about a disappoinment on the comedy side! Idk what people were expecting from Rickey Smiley anyways. He isn't that funny on the radio or his show on TVONE. Moving on it was WHACK until Alexander O'neal & Cherrelle came out. THEY WERE ADVERTISED as being an old school treat. Even though there was no live band, they did PERFORM and ENTERTAIN. I enjoyed that portion of the show (esp when Alex came out into the audience and sang and danced and took pictures). For folks attending the upcoming shows.....BEWARE.

Horrible! The people seated in the balcony could hardly hear. Rickey was the MC for the show not the main performer and was only on stage for a short time. Still confused as to why Cherelle and A. Oneal performed when it was suppose to be a comedy show! Nobody even thought enough of the fans to come out and end the show properly. I guess (lights turned on = Good night and thanks for letting us take your money!) Drove several hours to the show only to be disappointed.

The show as a whole was pretty good. Rickey smiley is extremely funny, personable, & humble all at the same time! He engaed the audience & added a litle more to his show by including participation of a brief step show & party music from back in the day. I hope to see him in Pittsburgh again but in a bigger venue!!!!

This was definitely one unorthodox show in which I went too. It was amazing that two comedians came out and you got a back in the day concert and then lights pop on. You didn't get a thank you from Rickey Smiley once the performers finished or anything. Everyone that he was the headliner and you were sadly mistaken. I think the low attendance is due to the professionalism in which is portrayed on his behalf. Therefore; the expensive tickets from front row was not worth the money spent. A lesson learned, spend on rating and quality and not the stereotypic run of the mill kind of guy they call Rickey Smiley. I was sorely dissappointed after purchasing four tickets for friends.
