We trekked to Boston from Maine to see the Lion King with three generations of family...the show was loved by all of us! The costumes and show were fantastic! The humor was good for all ages. A bit scary at times, but felt it was very appropriate for our 5 and 7 yr olds. The Opera House is gorgeous, and it was comparable to the Lion King in NYC that I attended several years ago. The rain was a drag, but in hind sight, if we had just waited ten minutes after the show, we would have finally hailed a cab. Only downside was that the lines at the ladies room was exceptionally long at intermission, so get there quickly if you need to go because you will miss the second act. The Opening scenes of both acts are spectacular, so be sure to get there before the doors close.

Favorite moment: The baboon, opening act (especially the elephant costumes), when Nala found out Simba was still alive, and the wart hog was hilarious! @
