What a great event! I cannot believe Tiger Woods can golf with all the distraction surrounding him. People like to be at the greens to see Woods, but I enjoy watching his drives off the tees.

I went to the Buick Open on Friday and it was so enjoyable that my husband and I went again for the final day. It's saddening to know that it is extremely likely that this will be the end of this annual event. The other fans were friendly and fun to chat with, as well as the pro golfers who attended the event. The majority of them signed autographs at the end of their rounds and were extremely pleasant and grateful to the fans. I will never forget Tiger Woods final putt on the 18th green of Warwick Hills, or the insane fun hanging out at the 17th hole. The Buick Open will be greatly missed.

We parked at a school and took a shuttle. The $$ went to the school and it made it very easy to get to the golf course. We had Clubhouse passes and came over 3 days. It was nice to have a combination of being there and then watching on TV, too. The weather and course were like a fairy tale - gorgeous! The Pro Am Day was our favorite as we were so close to Tiger and John Daly. Watched them practice putting, etc. We didn't bring a camera, though (NO CAMERAS OR CELL PHONES) was printed on our tickets, so I was disappointed I didn't get any pictures - it would have been easy. We'll know next time!
My husband bought a pair of John Daly pants in the gift shop and wore them to a golf outing yesterday. He was a big hit!

The picture on my refrigerator shows two retired men grinning from ear to ear, wearing their passes and arm bands. The nine hours at the course went by in a flash as they stratigized which hole to view and where to walk to next. The parking was close. The facilities were clean and quiet. Good friends who see each other only annually were able to share the commonality of their love of a game they once played well. Now they play concentrating on the beauty of the course and the occasional good hit that reminds them of their younger days. There is a bit of Tiger in these old cool cats smiling from the photo souvenier photo taken at the Buick Open.

I was looking in the 18 holes.The position of the pin was surrounded by three bunker and was very worth seeing.I was impressed by the play of the professional player.

I will never forget following David Duval,,and then trying to stay with Tiger. The watching areas around some of the greens, (especially 18) were slopped reverse, which made it hard to see anything. I think we could have used a few more restrooms. But we got by.

For what is most likely the last Buick Open, the atmosphere at the tournament was exciting. The fans let the players know how much they appreciate them coming and many of the players also displayed their appreciation to the fans. Woody Austin clapped towards the crowd at the 17th hole. Tiger Woods threw his golf balls into the stands at 17 and 18 as a sign of appreciation. That is unheard of from him. It was an amazing event!

This was my second Buick Open, I attend last year and I had a fun! But because it rained that weekend it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be plus Tiger Woods couldn't play because he had surgery on his knee. Because Tiger decided to play in this year's Buick Open I decided to go, but man let me tell you watching Tiger was a blast but the atmosphere was fun and of course CRAZY fun on hole 17!!! If this is truly the last Buick Open at Warwick Hills, the tournament will be missed. Let's hope that if another sponsor picks up the tournament and decides to keep it at Warwick Hills and will maintain and encourage the fun atmosphere that currently exist!!!
