I just did a search for "tennis bargains" and found some great promos! Great tennis event to see all the big stars. The US Open is an amazing event that helps support USA Tennis (USTA)! Definitely look for the great ticket deals online throughout the summer (Jun-Aug). I was able to get a $15 ticket one year and saw Federer, Nadal on the same day from just a few feet away... Awesome Pictures!!

More than any other, I expected the US Open to resist the urge to squeeze as many dollars as possible out of each and every person, but that is what I found at this, my fourth year of attendance. I used to recommend the day time session, and now I do not. Huge crowds, pushing and shoving to sit in bleachers and watch as many low ranked players as possible. Just not fun any more. Zero players walking in the crowd, like they used to.

Enjoyed attending the Open for my 5th year (was there Mon - Thur of the first week). The crowds seem to be getting much bigger than in past years. I did not attend during Labor Day weekend, because it is way too crowded for me. They are going to have to address traffic patterns to the new court (17). It's a nice court, but in order to get there, you have to pass through the food court area. When the food court lines are long, this is very difficult. Also, I have always enjoyed the Grandstand, but pretty much gave up even trying to get in there due to the long lines. I never buy Ashe tickets anymore - grounds passes are the way to go. You can catch great matches on the smaller outside courts.

If you get out there relatively early you can get great seats in Louis Armstrong. In no other major sporting event can you get quality GA seats for this kind of price. I sat center court 15 rows up. This was the second year i've gone...will make it an annual trip from now on.

Again as was in the past 5 years rain showed the organizers of the US Open they need to plan for the worst. Ticket exchanges, messages arriving to late to my phone and long lines had people sweating, taking unnecessary trips and feeling well screwed. Not the first time and no confidence it will be the last

It was my first GS and a big show!! The Stadium is so big and beautiful and the crowd is simply amazing! It's a lot of fun and all in all worldclass. I can't find words, just enjoy yourself!

Overall a great event although the lack of information from staff of where to catch a shuttle to & from the drop-off/pick-up area was very frustrating since I was with my elderly mother who by the end was too tired to walk the 1/2 mile or more to the area where we were being picked up.

Having got to the stadium we were all amazed at how big it was. Getting to see a tennis game live was amazing especially on the night session with Andy Roddick playing. As this was the first time at the US Open we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go.

Poorly organised entry.
Only one match played, and interrupted by an imperceptible mist.
Amatuerush attempts or actually no attempts to dry the courts.
Sending ball boys out with towels after the crowd have sat patiently for an hour.You must be joking.

The US Open authorities should be investigated for incompetence.No wonder the ticket sales are poor.Do they not realise that sometimes in rains in Nw York.

Do not buy tickets for the US Open tennis unless you have complete flexibility on staying in the New York area , and you believe that it will not rain in New York for two weeks .Great if you are a New Yorker with an umbrella .
I bought tickets for Friday Sept 9th day time in April 2011 and travelled from Europe to attend that specific day.
On arriving at the ground we were not allowed in , despite having Friday tickets.
The tickets had been changed to Saturday 10th at night.We had not been told.
Thousands of people were in the same position and we had to join a line at the ticket booth for hours to try to get our tickets revalidated for the Friday.
Tthe tickets were allegedly for a named session not for a named day.Ridiculous.

Unhelpful , ill-informed staff, jobs worth at security checkpoints , and to cap it all an almost empty stadium for the tennis matches , as most of the possible crowd were all outside.The majority never got in.
For a shambles of an event of International stature go no further than ticketing for the US Open.
Ticketmaster needs to seriously consider why it would associate itself with this mess.

The Arthur Ashe Stadium is not the best designed stadium. The seats at the top of the stadium are so far off the action that one feels like as if the action is happening in the next town. The stadium should have been designed in such a way that it would seem like the action is happening close like Wimbledon Centre Court.

The us open venue was excellent, top notch very classy. When we got in we felt at Diisney World, everyone was friendly and helpful .
The facilities were ver clean.

First time at US Open. Had a great time. We had breakfast in the hospitality pavilion before the matches started for the day. We were treated like VIPs. Food was delicious. Received lanyard, program, and booklet of the day's matches included with our breakfast.

I will never forget my first experience at the 2011 US Open and my first gram slam experience. I had an awesome experience, and will definitely come to see the 2012 gram slam. Hopefully it does not rain again next year. I understand the prices are high and its a business, but cmon, be reasonable. (Food, drinks, etc..) GO RAFA!

I leave in Brazil and I really enjoyed the event. It was my first time in US Open, and I was surprised when I arrived and had not to be in a big row to take my ticket. The matches were incredible. I only have to say that when we arrived on saturday night (september 10) the Artur Ashe stadium was very dirty. See you next year!
