If you're looking for some Christmas cheer with toe-tapping songs and dance then the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular is the place to be! You'll enjoy continuous entertainment with these high-stepping ladies as they take you on a musical tour of the streets of New York City and then remind you of your own hometown at this time of year, with the sights and sounds surrounding you with laughter, singing and snow. Of course, what Christmas show would be complete with out Santa? Oh, but I'll bet you have never seen over 200 Santas dancing! It's a merry sight to behold! And, finally, the magnificent and spectacular reenactment of the Nativity. This is one Christmas show that should not be missed seeing and should be a family outing!

The Rockettes never disappoint! They are perfection and the costumes are beautiful. This is everything a Christmas show should be. It is fast-moving for the little ones with shorter attention spans. Having seen the show in New York as well, it is missing some elements that cannot travel (i.e. the ice skating and the animals in the live Nativity) but it still imparts the fun, magic and beauty of the Christmas season.

I loved every minute of this magical holiday production. From beginning to end, it was superbly executed with an extremely high caliber cast. The Rockettes are simply amazing! They are perfectly in synch for every second of every number. How do they do that? They make every kick, turn, movement appear effortless. And they even smile naturally while doing all that looking like they love dancing together. It's refreshing to see a wholesome and obviously extremely physically fit group of young women entertaining all age groups and genders and having such positive audience response and serving as admirable role models for young ladies. Other cast singers, dancers and actors executed their roles with the professionalism found on Broadway shows in New York and London.just been there! The sets were beautiful and realistic pulling the audience into the Christmas fantasy. Even the nativity scene was done in excellent taste and reverence for people of all faiths. It couldn't have been better!

This performance of the Rockettes at DPAC was nearly flawless, from the knowledgeable and helpful staff, to the seamless technical aspects, to the polished performances! The Radio City Christmas Show was even better than we anticipated. And whoever manages DPAC deserves a round of applause for running such a coordinated, organized, well-oiled machine. It was quite a drive for us in the South Carolina Midlands, but well worth every mile and gallon!

I am actually writing this upon the request of my wife. I was her second choice for her date on this evening; her cousin was unable to attend. Both of these women have wanted to see the Rockettes for as long as they can remember. They are now in their mid 60's and have never had the chance until now. So, here I am being dragged, kicking and scratching all the way. What I experienced was a performance nothing short of amazing! The costumes, the lighting, the precision, the graphics, the synchronization, the timing, the stunning figures . . . Whoa! When those ladies danced as wooden soldiers they were so precise they appeared to be computer graphic animations. Even though the video projection screen was huge the resolution was extremely fine. The video and the real time dancing was coordinated and totally seamless. My wife hopes that the show will return again; her cousin really missed out.

The fabric choices for costumes and colors were amazing and dellightful! I especially loved the Three Kings and Manger scene piece. I would have loved to meet the Rockettes! I think it would have been especially nice to have had t-shirts to buy along with some signed photos (since cameras were not allowed) and dolls as well as other memorabilia.

We all enjoyed the show we had a 5 yr old, 8 yr. old 2 adults and all of us were on the edge of our seats the entire time. The Celebration of the birth of our Lord & Savior was the best I've seen in a long time. Thanks you for having something everyone enjoys.

WOW! This was an amazing experience for young and old. There was something for everyone to enjoy and the transition from act to act was impeccable! I will never cease to be awestruck by the finale - the wonderful Christmas story come to life - no matter how many times I see it performed. This is truly a wonderful beginning to my holiday season!! We haven't gone to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for a few years. It is updated and wonderful as always. I wish they'd get rid of those ugly Raggedy Anne costumes, however the rest of the costumes were great. The dancing was excellent. I enjoyed the backdrop, it added to the show for me.

I had seen the Rockettes Christmas show about 12 years ago and thought it was wonderful. I took my nieces and nephews this year to see the new production and was a little disappointed. The show was good, however I missed the live animals for the manger scene. Also, at the end of most segments they did like an encore of that segment which was lame. I think it was just to use up more time. I also was not thrilled with the bus tour of New York being a Chicagoan! Bottom line, if you've never seen the Rockettes I recommed to see it. I would not go again though.

Overall very nice!!
I would have liked the ending to be the Nativity as in prior years with live animals & performers walking up aisles to stage.

This was my first time at the Akoo and it was a great venue. This was also my first Radio City Christmas Spectacular, it was AMAZING. As a 26 year old woman I felt like a child again. They did a great job of really celebrating the season. I think this might just become a new tradition for me.

I was not overly impressed with the rockettes. I really was expecting a magical performance, but what I saw was mostly just basic......where was the grand kick lines....six kicks in a row is NOT a kick line. The soldiers scene was the best, but unless you have kids, I would not recommend this performance.
