Why do all the Legends die at 27? Jim Morrison is my favorite and the Wild Child tribute band did an excellent job of portraying the highlights of the Doors. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone. Thanks for the memories!!

There are no bad seats, no bathroom lines, plenty of bathroom stalls, two full bars on each side. I hadn't seen Wild Child in about 10 years and they did not disappoint. Great energy great songs. LOVED IT. We had an AWESOME time!!!

For most of us Doors fans, they came and went so fast many of never got to see them live. For those who missed them Dave Brock is perhaps the closest thing we'll ever know as Jim. The guy is amazing, the Band is not nearly as good as the originals but do a pretty good job backing him up. They rock hard and loud! A very good show and I recommend to everyone who is a fan. All who attended agreed they had chills down their spine.

As usual, Dave Brock put on an amazing show, but right after the first number, Dave invited the drunken masses from the back of the room to come down to the front of the stage.... my excellent third row seats might as well have been in the back row - had to stand for the duration of the show. Venue security made little effort to clear the isles. Too bad the local fire marshall wasn't present...
The music was great - nobody does Morrison like Dave Brock! The guitar and keyboards were spot on and the drummer didn't miss a beat. I saw Dave perform with Ray Manzarek and Robbie Kreiger at the Pacific Amphitheatre at last year's fair and it was BY FAR the BEST show of the season! Wished this years performance would have been as enjoyable.

This Doors tribute band really delivers. The lead singer totally channels Jim Morrison both in song and swagger. The rest of the band pumps it out as well. We like the relaxed atmosphere of the Hangar, you can get up and move around (dance) easier than at larger venues. Another plus is that your concert ticket includes Fair admission.

These guys are excellent! I saw Dave Brock (the lead singer) with Robbie Krieger and Ray Manzarek last year at the OC fair, he was great they were good. But this is his band that has been playing The Doors classics for over a decade and they are dynamic! Better than the Ray and Robbie show, his band is tight and "spot on". It was awesome to see all ages grooving and enjoying the flavor of a live "Doors" concert. Nothing quite like hearing the joy,jamming and jubilation of "Light My Fire" and "LA Woman" live.

Great show, great sound, great songs. It was the Doors re-incarnated. I saw them before and will surely see them again. I wish he wouldn't have invited everyone to come up front. I got my tix early so I would have good seats and after that, I felt like I was sitting in a mosh pit of 40ish women rekindling their youth.

All the best Doors tunes were covered, except for some of the slow or romantic ones.
Riders on the storm was about as slow as it got- always good to hear but the lack of musicianship did not raise the goosebumps and atmosphere this tune elicits if performed well.
Overall Very exciting, upbeat and dark at the same time- the way only Doors music can be.
This 4 man band pulls it off because the rhythm and bass are recorded!
but not to nit pick- it is just a cover band and the lead guitar and drummer wailed and the keyboardist even had his moments. the Singer had the Morrison swagger down pat and connected with the audience until we all demanded an encore.
Definitely the highlight of my day at the fair!

They played almost all the hits. Each one building on the last. Everyone was standing by the time they played Light My Fire. Great two hour show. My ears are still ringing. The sound system is much improved and I like the fact that you now have assigned seats.

Even though I never met or saw The Doors live, seeing Wild Child was the next best thing! Seeing Jim Morrison on TV in concerts, and hearing The Doors music, Wild Child reminds me of them. Dave Brock is the next Jim Morrison.

The concert would have been great if the dude who sings Jim Morrison would not have invited all the freebie people who were gathered on the side of us to come on up! We were forced to stand up the entire concert when we had seats 4 rows back! That was my first experience at The Hangar and I did not dig it at all!

Awesome time , worth every penny paid.... big fan of The Doors and Wild Child gave me the best and closes experience to the real thing..... my 16 year old daughter was with me… she love Morrison and love the way Dave performed on stage… that is something she will never forget …
then, Dave ask the audience to join him on the space next to the stage… we did and where about 2 feet away from the stage.. Best Experience Ever
Defiantly will pay to see them again and again …. 

After attending many shows at the "Hanger" at the O.C. fair, Wild Child has to be the best I've seen. People can sing "The Doors" songs but Wild Child performs them as if you were watching the actual band at the Whiskey in the 60's. I would totally reccomend this band and venue to others. I have already booked tickets to the Wild Child event at the "Anthology" theater in San Diego for this weekend. BOOK EM AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
