Rainy during the day, but no rain for 3 hours before the game, so the game would clearly be played. But only one concession stand was open, team store was closed. Felt like a ghost town.

As always when my wife or daughter go to steinbrenner field with me it's always a great time. The fans, workers,players and the facility... Anybody that is vacationing here has got to stop here for an event.. and if you live here you must be a regular. Would i recommend to adults and families, i think my words spoke enough.

Great field and game. Plus, the players are so much more accessible at this level than they are in MLB. A great game to bring my son to! Plus, Legends is a great place for Yankee fans.

This was my first time at a Tampa Yankees game, and I was very impressed. Beautiful park, and friendly staff. Alot of pregame activities for adults and kids, good food, and a nice gift shop full of Yankees and Rays merchandise. Also, saw a couple of players signing autographs before the game.

I had great seats which were very inexpensive and saw a great minor League baseball game......it is stunning the place is not packed.....will go back as soon as I can.

My family is from new York and we just moved to Tampa, we were really happy to hear about the Tampa Yankees so since we live about 10 mins from the stadium, we couldn't wait to go. so we went on tybaseball.com order our tickets for two right behind home plate for only $16 with an $15 mail ne rebate from ticket master. On top of that it was my son frist baseball game and it was priceless to see his face. We can't wait to go again. Thinking about season passes.

That it was a cool night out with the boys. Prices were great all around for tickets
And food and games for kids to do. The stadium was early nice and clean.
Would recommend for anyone who is a baseball fanatic.

Umps could not decide if the game should go on or be called due to rain. It seemed that
every half inning the ground crew was dumping absorbant to make the infield playable.
It is a wonder on of the fielders or pitchers didn't get hurt due to the conditions. Other
than the playing conditions, the parking area entrance needs to be better designated.

Food and drinks were reasonably priced and readily available with good service.

While on vacation to Tampa (from Dallas), I took my family to a Tampa Yankees baseball game. We all love baseball and enjoy watching as many games as we can. We enjoyed this game alot too. The staff and security was very friendly and helpful. The venue however, was just fair compaired to other minor league venues we've attended. The stadium was very nice-but lacked the "pizzaz" of the entertainment around the stadium. (ie announcements, between inning information and games etc). I would still attend this venue in the future, but only for the love of watching the game-(which is the best reason to go!!)
Also-Handicap seating (scooter)behind home plate. Great view-plenty of space to move around. But, you can only have 1 accompaning seat with the handicap seat (going as family/group has you split up)

Took my grandchildren and they enjoyed the game. Of course it was not packed with fans which is a shame. I would go again when I am in town.

Seeing the Tampa Yankees play at George Steinbrenner Field is a very fun evening. It's relaxed, the seats all seem to be good, and it has all the elements of a pro ballgame without the costs.

You couldn't find a better place to be on a Thursday evening than a Tampa Yankees minor league baseball game at beautiful Legends Field in Tampa!!
Nice breezes from center field -- Friendly, relaxed stadium staff -- Happy, enthusiastic fans -- Lots of foul balls for the children (young and old to chase!)
Beer or soda by the glass for $1-- Yummy hot dogs $2 -- Ice Cream $1.75
All this and a thrilling come-from-behind win made this a real value (only $8 for the best ticket in the house -- other seats / nights are even cheaper!) -- for families, friends, or even date night!!

At any other park, the seats would have been great. However, throughout the whole game kids and adults alike kept coming down in droves and walking in front of you during the game. Total distraction throughout the whole game. Also;

- never announced replacement player names as changes were made

- no radar postings of any pitch made throughout the game

- no vendors except for one person selling lemonaide

Back to School Bash was a hit! Great give aways and contests. Plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied and between inning activities. We will definitely be going again next year!!! Not to mention the fantastic fireworks display at the end of the night. You still feel the pride and tradition of the New York Yankees in a smaller more intimate venue in Tampa.
