Checked out the San Jose Sabercats season opener last Saturday. It was my girlfriend's first Arena Football game and it did not disappoint. We arrived 30 minutes early and found free parking on the street near HP Arena. There was no line at the Will Call window and I got my Lower Level tickets in two minutes-we were in our seats just in time for the team intro, the fireworks and coach Darrin Arbet's and two former player's AFL Hall of Fame presentation...I was surprised to see a lot of empty seats, though...
The Sabercats trailed all game long and somehow went into overtime. The Arizona Rattlers went for a winning 2-point conversion right in front of us, but it was "Shut Down Time." Love my Sabercats, the Bay Area's best-kept secret.

Great seats, sec 117 row 3. Fireworks were loud, maybe not the best thing to have going on after the incident in Boston recently. Too bad sabercats got their butt handed to them by Spokane.

I went because my daughter loves the Sabercats we had seat at the goal lower level I paid the price for them but as the game started people from the upper deck came down and decided that since no one was using the seats they were going to use them and I did not feel that was cool. Other than that my Daughter had a great time at the game.

Had great seats in the fifth row, middle of the field. First I was not impressed because we were just behind the players who stood up much of the time, but we saw enough to enjoy. Was fun, noisy, but exciting. Was great people watching on the screen overhead and directly. I recommend sitting back a few more rows to get better over all viewing.

My daughters and I used to be season ticket holders but moved out of the area. We
were back in town and decided to watch our old team. Worst game I had ever watched.

The Sabercats are probably done for this year. They had absolutely no answer for the Spokane passing game. They have to play Chicago there and after that game they will have knocke themselves out of the playoff pickure.

No one I know has ever been to a Sabercats game, but all knew about them. Met a girl who said we had to go on a date that wasn't predictable. San Jose is a perfect location to eat a great meal outdoors and talk, then walk in the warm summer breeze to the Sabercats game where there is plenty of action to keep everyone entertained, but is quiet enough to hold conversation easily.
Game was great, lots of hits. I will be back with friends to watch another. Non-stop action and entertainment with a football taste. Lot of fun

My husband and I took five 11 year old boys to the game to celebrate my son being promoted to middle school. The boys were having so much fun. They loved the slap sticks that were given out at the seats. My husband and son go to every home game and try to take a least one of my sons friends with them. We hope that they go home and tell their family and friends how much fun they have watching the Sabercats. We want the Sabercats and the rest of the arena football to be around for a long time. The boys not only love watching the game, they also love to watch the Saberkittens. They also enjoy meeting the players and the cheerleaders at the end of the game.
