We love going to the minor league ball games. We typically go to the stadium to purchase our tickets but ticketmaster made it more convenient with our busy schedules these past few weeks.

A Tides ballgame is great summer fun for any age. There are good, reasonably priced seats throughout the park, although I thought seating was a bit tight. My husband and I attended two games while staying in Portsmouth. We found the shuttleboat service from Portsmouth to Harbor Park to be both convenient, fun and quite a bargain ($1.50 each per trip). We will definately go back and hopefully the Tides will win next time!

Harbor Park is a great stadium! There were over 7800 fans at the game last night, and the crowd is always into the game. The extra "side games" with the kids throwing pizza pans and building hamburgers are always grin-worthy!
Even though we lost to Charlotte, the Tides had a bit of a rally in the 9th, putting two men on when we were down by 4 runs. Little bit of last minute excitement.
I go to Harbor Park to see the Tides play 3-4 times every summer. The food is really good, the beer is really cold, and the price is really reasonable. Highly recommend it!

The Tides game was a great family outing. The food choices were appetizing and the games between innings were entertaining. To top it all off my 6 y o son was able to run the bases at the conclusion of the game.

The game was great. Many exceptional plays made by both teams,. Tides won 3-2. It was Navy Day so they had a free fireworks display after the game. We all had a fantastic time.

It couldn't have gone any better for my sons first "professional" baseball game. He had a blast as well as i did. He wasn't too fond of the Rip Tide, but other than that he wouldn't take his eyes off the field. Cant wait to take him to a white sox game.

The game was fantastic, especially the come back by Gwinnett Braves. But I actually enjoyed the activity going on between change of field and half time . The mascott Rip Tide for Norfolk Tides was hillarious. I got to shake his hand.

The Tides defense took an inning to get their heads in the game but woke up and made some awesome defensive plays, 1st baseman and shortstop - way to go!. The pitcher started struggling in speed and accuracy and the pitching Coach slept through the next couple innings to wake up and find that he had given up the lead.

It is hard to beat an afternoon baseball game with friends that enjoy watching and talking baseball. Add in the Sausage sandwiches and beer with a well played exciting game and leave the park happy regardless of who wins.

easy to get tickets with ticket master and picked them up at Will Call. Had great seats, and all enjoyed good baseball at a fraction of the price of major leagues.
Nothing like minor league baseball to bring the kids where they can actually get close up and get autographs and talk to players! come on out to the ball park!

This is always a fun venue if you are looking for a nice family outing. I like going to Harbor Park also because you don't have to be a avid baseball fan to really enjoy yourself. The atmosphere and activities that take place there are great and really almost makes the outing into an event rather than a baseball game. Most of the vendors are kind and courteous and there is a lot that is catered toward the kids. This particular night there was a character named "Reggie" that was featured and he kept the crowd and the kids entertained throughout the game. I highly recommend doing going to Harbor Park to see the Tides, the price is right for a family to attend and have a hot dog or two and a really great time.

We had a very good time at the game at Harbor Park. The ballpark is missing some of the aminities that you would find at a newer park, but the staff was one of the best that I have ever dealt with. They were eager to help and everyone seemed like they loved their job. The game was also a nail biter that had the Tides win in the bottom of the ninth. If you want to go see a baseball game at a very reasonable price I would reccomend this event to anyone.
