I very much enjoyed the show. They are very talented artists. I loved the scenes with the flowing fabrics & the girl on the mirror floor was mesmerizing . . . like a human kalidescope. Awesome. They did about 10 skits and I only found 3 that I wasn't too impressed with. Overall, it's a great show with lots of variety. There's something for everyone!

Location:I'm an ASU retiree, and live in East Mesa.
I had to bring a friend this year that I had invited last year. Now she sees what I bragged about and couldn't quit talking about. Its a wonderful, beautiful show with energetic dancers emulating the most fantastic, 'cirque-like' creations. I enjoyed it again as much as I did last time and always feel such a spiritual lift, kind of like a kid at Disneyland.

This show was mesmerizing! My husband and I absolutely LOVED it. The dancers were incredibly talented and we could not believe there were so few of them! Their energy and stamina was unbelievable. What a truly memorable performance.

Wonderful artistic athletic dancing. It was fun to guess which body part was real and which might be a puppet or illusion. I would see other Momix programs and recommend them highly.
However, if I were one of the dancers, I would be quite angry that my name did not appear anywhere, some history would have been appreciated, too. When the show began, there was no introduction, no information about the choreographer and no program brochure at all. I suggest some information be given about the dance company and how the basic theme was tied to each dance...maybe at the end of the show?

Usually, my husband tolerates going to the theatre only because he does not want me to have to go by myself, but, when we saw Momix Botanica he said he could have watched it for 6 more hours!

Momix: Botanica was indescribably wonderful and creative. A true visual delight as well as stimulating to all the senses. We had seen the company perform a different program about 15 years ago in Wisconsin and were delighted to find this performance here. We recommended it to several others - who also attended and were blown away. It is pretty hard to describe it in words - so fortunately they took our word for it and found out how great it was.

I had no idea what to expect because I had never heard of MOMIX, but I really enjoyed the performance and I'm already looking forward to future MOMIX shows.
As a I was leaving, I overheard someone describe it as a mix of ballet and cirque du soleil. The music, visual effects and performers were all wonderful.

An amazing show. The costumes were so unique and creative and the dancers were fantastic. Their synchronicity was just out of this world. I have never seen any show like that before. Plus the light and camera and mirror illusions made it really fun.

Have seen Momix perform three times and each time they knock my socks off! Botanica had not one piece that wasn't amazing and full of oohs and aahs....
If you want to see dance like never before that is full of energy and is fascinating to watch, go see this performance.

The physical and aesthetic beauty is wonderful to see.
the costuming is very imaginative.
the dancing and physical condition of the performers is worth the admission on it's own, not to mention the theatrics and "magic" of the performance.

Extraordinary and creative choreography which was beautifully staged and executed. The props were minimalist but very effective in complementing the ballet and stories. Likewise the music enhanced without dominating. A refreshing use of whimsy was especially welcome. I'll surely watch for future performances by this company.

I felt the ticket price exceeded the performance level. Some parts were captivating for short periods of time and others drug on forever! It seems they did not know when to stop a theme. I kept waiting for the show to really pick up and it never did. I kept trying to look at my watch to see how much longer it might go which is never a good sign when I'm at a show! It could have been so much more than it was!
