Jim Breuer had me in tears I was laughing so hard. It was a GREAT show and the venue was small so the seats were great. I'd definitely go see him again!!

The fact this show was in a synagogue was out of the ordinary. The pews were not to comfortable but the small size of the venue created a more intimate show which was cool. This is the second time I've seen Jim Breuer and he was even funnier this time than he was the first time I saw him. I highly recommend this show to anyone who needs to laugh. My cheeks were sore from laughing by the time it was over.

Seeing a comedian live is sooooo much better than watching them on TV. Its not only funnier but you get a connection to the speaker as well.

This was the 2nd time seeing Jim, and both times were outstanding. It was a little strange at first going to a Synagogue for a comedian show, but who else can say they have been to a Synagogue to laugh as much as that crowd did!!! Thanks again for a great show!

hilarious. jim breuer is a very talented entertainer/story teller. he used his enter stage and really puts on a show. i was in tears he was so funny. i had even heard some of the bits before but they werent exactly the same and still hilarious. the only lame part i thought about his bit was at the end he was like telling the audience to buy his dvd for 10 bucks. i thought that was kind of lame because hes already famous. why is he pressing his dvd on the audience? i dont know, it just kind of rubbed me the wrong why.

The show was probably the best comedic event I have ever attended. Breuer kept everyone in the audence laughing with his real life story telling, events of his family, and life as a child. I would recommend this event for any and everyone who just wants a good ealthy laugh.

Great standup act. He performed a mix of the stuff he's known for and great at (e.g., goatboy, Half-Baked stories, impressions, etc.) with lots of physical comedy. He had everyone in stitches - and they don't serve drinks at the 6th & I HIstoric Synagogue.

Normally when I receive an opportunity to review something, I pass it up. I'm a busy girl! But when I saw the option to review this event pop up in my inbox this morning, I jumped at the chance to speak my mind. So, here it is:
This. Was. Hilarious.
I used to be a fan of Goat Boy when I was a kid (and Half Baked as I got older...) so when I saw Breuer was coming to DC, I called up my childhood best bud and ordered tickets, not really knowing what to expect. Maybe it was not having any expectations, but, seriously, this is one of the best comedy shows I've ever been to! And I've seen a lot of them.
Joke after joke after joke was hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny. If it had been socially acceptable, I would have been rolling on the floor laughing at points. I honestly was laughing for almost the entire show (which explains why I woke up this morning with very sore cheeks...).
Breuer is hilarious, flat out funny, and downright worth seeing. I'm already hoping he comes back to DC soon and I'm definitely ordering a copy of his DVD ASAP. If you have a chance, SEE THIS SHOW. I'm telling you -- it's absolutely worth every penny!
PS -- The guy who opened for him was pretty awesome too. Normally, I'm like, "Okay, let's get the real reason I came here on the stage," but he was cracking me up!

Clean, no swear words, no lewd jokes. Loved it!!! Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard, there were times I was hoping he'd pause so I could catch my breath! My cheeks and my sides hurt, in a good way! I'm already wanting to see his show again. His opening act was great too - "D", that's all I caught. Good time!

Jim Breuer was absolutely awesome. He delivered great laughs, but also made me think. It looks like the man loves his family, but he is not shy to share some smart-ass insights about how it possibly can make a mess out of your life. That was a lot of wisdom for one night of comedy ))))
