The accoustic show was great, but Chris's humility made the show even better. He is a very humble man and genuinely grateful for the support of his fans. Several times during his performance he became emotional which just about brought the house down. Small venues tend to keep shows intimate like this, but not many artists open up to a crowd as Chris did.
Chris engaged with the crowd and spoke of his support of military personnel (and their spouses--at the insistance of his wife). He recognized a soldier in the audience whom had just returned from a tour of duty overseas. Two guests gave Chris bracelets memorializing two local soldiers that have been killed in the Middle East. He proudly wore both bracelets and sang in the young men's honor.
