I wanted to experience the MLS and managed to do that at the RFK Stadium. I found the quality of football surprising and pleasing especially as it was such a terrible night weather wise. I bought a couple of DC shirts for myself and would hope that I will get to another game. However my parter, well she was just very cold and very wet, and not happy at all. So next time maybe I will have to arrange the weather, or at least a time more likely to be warm! A big plus, the crowd, though very small, a good atmosphere was there created by the home fans, who are indeed the 12th man!

Our seats were in the rain (section 116) but we had no problem moving to seats out of the rain. Lots of no-shows. The food vendor I ate at didn't speak English clearly and the cash register display did not show the actual total for my purchase. Thus there was much confusion on exactly what I was suppose to pay. Menu was confusing. But the actual food was ok.

DC United games are always great fun, even in the cold rain.
