I wanted to experience the MLS and managed to do that at the RFK Stadium. I found the quality of football surprising and pleasing especially as it was such a terrible night weather wise. I bought a couple of DC shirts for myself and would hope that I will get to another game. However my parter, well she was just very cold and very wet, and not happy at all. So next time maybe I will have to arrange the weather, or at least a time more likely to be warm! A big plus, the crowd, though very small, a good atmosphere

Our seats were in the rain (section 116) but we had no problem moving to seats out of the rain. Lots of no-shows. The food vendor I ate at didn't speak English clearly and the cash register display did not show the actual total for my purchase. Thus there was much confusion on exactly what I was suppose to pay. Menu was confusing. But the actual food was ok.

I've been a DC fan for a while now, and this was my first LIVE game. It was so much fun!!! Even though it's a three hour drive to D.C. for me, I'm planning another trip soon. :)

Well. It seems the guys at the stadium weren't really ready for people to come, even if the upper tier of RFK was empty. The lines for the advertised $2 dollar hotdogs were long, and I got to the counter twice only to find there weren't any ready for sale. Not good enough.

I love DC United, but as a displaced Seattle fan it was fun to watch this game. DC fans were nice to me overall and no problems.

the $2 beer and hot dog sales were a debacle. There were people waiting in line for basically the entire time. If you're going to offer a promotion like that, you need to be ready.

The game and the crowd were both great. It was nice to see so many people at a United game. However, when a team offers a $2 beer promotion they better have an arsenal of kegs at every kiosk. They need to have the taps on at all times and they need to keep the lines moving. We waited 45 minutes for beers which was just ridiculous. When kegs were kicked it took almost twenty minutes for them to be replaced. There's no excuse for that. People were becoming incredibly ill-tempered and had they stuck to the 65th minute cut-off they certainly would have been dealing with riots....

Though RFK stadium has seen better days, DC United's loyal fans make up the difference in energy and excitement. Game against LA Galaxy is always tense, and though it was a little rainy, the feeling from the stands was that you were surrounded by fans who didn't care what the weather was - they were there to cheer for their team!

It wasn't the best soccer match ever - it rained all evening and the play wasn't great but, soccer is still a great game and a great night out! The stadium facilities are good and the atmosphere was fantastic despite the no scoring game. Support your local soccer team!!!

It rained most of the time but overall the game was great. This was my first soccer game and the fans were cheerful. My son also enjoyed the game. we drove 2 hours just to see Beckham play and it was well worth it.

RFK is still a great venue for local sporting events. Its a bit old, but with a little TLC in the form of renovations, it could be the state of the art facility that it has the potential to be. Thankfully DC United is still playing in the District and has not gotten themselves into a mess of a contract like the Redskins. For fans coming from all over the DC Metro Area, RFK Stadium is in a perfect location that allows patrons to easily access and exit the area. Its always fun to go to a United home game because of all the supporters that come together to celebrate in good spirit from the start of the tailgating festivities in the parking lot until the mass exodus at the end of the game.
