This show was stunning. STUNNING. Guitar, Bass, Full Drum Kit, Bongos, all great, but when you add keys and samplers, it just goes over the top. They would strum out a bass line, sample it, then loop it while playing in harmony, with themselves from 8 seconds ago. This builds songs up and Up and UP!! Until they slam it back down with incredibly smooth beats. All this synced to a light show that would convince you that God himself orchestrated this as a pet project between creating cosmos.

True story bro.

I have seen this band at multiple festivals, but this was my first club show I've seen featuring them. I was not disappointed. They played two monster sets and kicked some serious ass. I loved it and would pay to see them again and again.

I had never seen STS9 live before this show, and I was blown away with their performance! The entire crowd was dancing together while the tribe played songs that surpassed even their albums. I could not have asked for more from a live performance and I hope to see them again ASAP!

STS9 definately brought thier A game to the State!!! Very high energy, polished sound. Light show is very good, a little annoying with bright white lights directly in our eyes. All in all way better than I expected, I had seen them 5+ years ago and this was way better than I remembered. The place was packed and the crowd loved the show!!!

What a truly incredible evening. I went with my friends to this show and had never even listened to this artist before going. I was pleasantly surprised at how great they were. I would recommend STS9 highly to anyone who likes jam bands.

When they were on stage, they were great. My only complaint is after waiting 40 minutes after opening act, their first set lasted 45 minutes. Then they took another 30 to 35 minute break before beginning their second set. Unless they had to take a rest room break, I felt I was at my neighborhood bar, where the band has to wait til a certain amount of drinks are sold at the bar before the band can get back on stage. Ditch the break and just play one set.

I've been waiting way too long for my favorite band's return to Pittsbugh! Every single Promo West questionnaire I filled out, I requested STS9 at Stage AE. This was a dream come true for me! The crowd was perfect, the music was perfect, event staff was perfect, entire production was perfect! Couldn't have asked for a better night. Make this show happen every year, if at all possible.
