The product on the court was less than stellar. But we all know that. I will focus my review on the game day experience.
Verizon Center is poorly managed. There are very few dining options. One joint sells burgers and chicken, and the other sells pizza and Italian/Turkey subs. That is all you get. They need more variety. We saw a cool bbq restaurant on the box seat area (the area where you can't get in with non club tickets). Why isn't that restaurant available elsewhere?
The food prices were absurdly high, even for an entertainment venue. $9 for a burger. It was small, and it came with a small sampling of chips. Most joints serve big burgers with a big portion of fries.
I went to get popcorn and ice cream at the end of the 3rd period. All of the food joints near my level started shutting down. They were technically open, but the inventory was low. No ice cream or popcorn were available. (Props to the manager for getting it for me after I complained).
The on-the-court entertainment during the commercial time outs started getting old by the end of the game. They need more variety.
