Favorite moment: Tough one...Seeing S.J Sharkie ride a quad onto center ice was uber-cool.I guess just any time they scored;the place went berzerk! @

This was my first trip to San Jose,and first time in a hockey arena other than the Honda Center (Ducks fan).Let me begin by saying;the gorgeous arena,located just a few dozen yards from where I got off the train,provides great sight of the action even from near the top.The fans were passionate,displayed so much knowledge and love of the game,and helped give that particular game a playoff atmosphere,even though it was in November,just a month into the season.They do so many things in tune with the team (playing 'Jaws Theme',the fans making shark chomping gestures on the PP,the SUPER cool way the team skates onto the ice through this cool shark mouth,the arena nickname 'The Shark Tank'),I just love the way they keep up that theme.One minor complaint,although I don't blame them;I don't think programs were free,which Honda Center does,but I guess since San Jose actually cares about hockey,unlike Anaheim,it makes sense.Overall,the Shark Tank puts Honda Center and Duck fans to shame.

First live professional hockey game

The seats were awesome!! Being right on top of the action and getting the feel of just how much pain is inflicted by players was incredible. Like I said, this was the 1st time I had seen a Sharks game in person, even though I do watch them on TV, it is just like baseball to me,"You can't beat fun at the old ballpark" but in this case at the Shark tank. All the excitement and fun despite my buddy who was supposed to go with me to the game, had to cancell out at the last minute because his daughter was hit by a car and was seriously injured but survived. I will probably, or should I say, I will go to another Sharks game in the not too distant future. Tough loss but next time!! GO SHARKS!!

Location: San Jose

Sharks games are always amazing whether you like hockey or not. There's an energy from the crowd that you can't help but to be drawn into. Breaks seem to fly by with fun activities but still with plenty of time to get snacks. Sharky is one of the greatest mascots and continues to keep the crowd going til the very end.
