This was my first game in Foxborough, and since I've been a Patriots fan for over a decade, it was really like a pilgrimage to me. Prior to the game, we went to the Hall of Fame at Patriot Place, which has some excellent interactive exhibits that really teach important things about football strategy and skill required to execute it.
The stadium is absolutely beautiful; I've been to three other NFL stadiums to compare it to: Giants Stadium (before MetLife was built), the Georgia Dome, and FedEx Field in Washington, D.C. Gillette stadium is so much better than all of these, perhaps because it is the youngest; you never feel like you're in a bunker whilst getting to your section because it's so open. The Pats fans are so passionate during the game, as well, screaming their heads off on almost all defensive downs. And they had good reason to shout that night: incredible offensive and defensive play by their team! Any time one watches the Patriots, there's going to be something highlight worthy that happens, and this night there were multiple such occurrences. Two incredible long passes from Brady to Lloyd and Stallworth (who had just been re-signed) and a defensive turnover really elicited screams, which were rewarded by the delectable sound of musket volleys (if you get there more than half an hour in advance, you may snap a picture with the minutemen above the endzone section).
