First time watching a professional soccer game live. I was aware it would be in a minor league baseball park but still, it was a bit on the "homemade" side with plywood vendors stands and some awful burning smell. The game was good and the seats weren't too bad. The mascot kept standing in the way as did some of the guys hawking popcorn and hot chocolate.
Somehow it just didn't feel like I thought it would. I guess Arrowhead would have been too big, though, for only 10,000 people. I'd probably go again if the right team was playing. I'm not a Wizards fan. I went to see Seattle play.

We took our family of four to the Wizards game on Oct. 17th and it was a blast! The ticket prices included free hotdogs and pretzels for all of us plus a free stadium blanket (which came in handy in the 40 degree weather!!) The stadium was relativly easy to find and parking was great (and free)! We only had to walk a few hundred feet to the entrance. The staff at the stadium were really nice and helpful! The bathrooms and concession stands were just up the isle from our seats! Our seats were really close to the pitch and comfy! We had a wonderful time! We will definitely go again!!!

I started going to these games in May because a guy poured his beer on his friend when the Wizards scored and thought watching a game with the atmosphere in the Cauldron was awesome. But last night I watched very little of the game the security was being a gigantic distraction to the game. Then people walked out because of the ridiculousness of the the security throwing people out at halftime because of streamers was just embarrassing. I'm just glad none of the friends I invited to this game could go and waste their money. Security guards need to be at a game to keep people safe but when you are just looking for trouble makers that is just wrong. I hope the Wizards front office makes it right by the fans.

It was a great evening and the game was fast-paced. Traffic was not good, but we arrived before the game started at least! The food was hectic - would probably do it again, but would plan to arrive well before the game started to avoid the rush.

I went to the Wizards game against Colorado. The soccer was nothing special. No big deal. At least there is a pro league here in the US. The Comminity America Ballpark is a horrible soccer venue. There are no decent seats in the entire stadium. Its a baseball field, Thats it! Its not a place where soccer can be watched. I will not be returning to the stadium for another game. Not because of the Wizards or the soccer, but for the stadium alone.

When the Wizards got down 2-1 the supurb play goalie Hartman kept the Wizards in the game. Also, his saves in the final minutes saved the game. The seats were great too. The game was also special because it was for my son's birthday. He played soccer in high school. He really enjoyed the game too.

Stadium is made for baseball. Wizards would be better off renting facilities from a school district with football/soccer facility like Olathe's. Seating is terrible for viewing soccer.
We had "all you can eat" tickets. What a joke. Only one stand was available and there was a very limited selection of food (hot dogs, pasta, peanuts, potato chips, canned soda pop-coke and sprite only, bottled water). Hot dogs were brought out late, about halfway through first half, then they closed the stand 20 minutes before the end of the game. That's not clearly spelled out when you buy your tickets.
Hard to see area in front of near goal from section 106. Bring a good pair of binoculars to see action at the far end.

This was our families first professional soccer game. We had great seats and really had a good time. The game was really exciting and worth every penny. My dd plays youth soccer so she was really watching so she could get some pointers from the pros. She was very excited after the game that some of the players signed some autographs for the fans. One player even game away his jersey. Very cool of professional players coming over after a long game and still taking the time for the fans. You just don't see that any more. We will go back for sure.

The seats were awesome because they were close up and had a good angle. However the all you can eat stand kept running out of food and you had to wait 20 minutes to get anything to eat. Poor planning not to have a plethra of food in stock.

The stadium was great for watching soccer. Every seat was close to the field. The concessions were varied and reasonable too. Seemed to be a very family oriented place. Definitely recommended

It was a good game,but don't expect to get your food that you paid for... I gor the family four pack which included, 4 hot dogs and 4 pretzels, didn't get any of it! Thats the last time I will be doing this. The people at the stand were very rude and could care any less.

VIP tickets are definitely the way to go! it was a bit pricey but worth it. all food and drinks were free, including 5 tickets for alcoholic beverages, don't know if i could have more, but its what they gave me up front.

This particular event was sold out, which is great for MLS, and I was happy to be a part of it. All soccer fans should attend MLS games as regularly as they are able to -- the games are great to watch and a fantastic display of the game our children love. But if you go out to MidAmerica Ballpark, make sure you check your seat selection and DO NOT buy tickets in section 104. For this particular event, at which David Beckham was present, the ticket prices were inflated by at least 50%, which is understandable, EXCEPT that section 104 is behind the pitcher's mound at what is, at all times except when MLS games are played, a baseball field, and therefore your view is obstructed by the safety net. FOR THE ENTIRE GAME! So we paid $44 per ticket, drove eight hours to be there, and watched the entire game through a net. Very unhappy about the seats, and they would do nothing to appease us. Great game -- Wish we could have seen more of it!!

The facility is very nice, the food is great, the atmosphere with the fans was incredible, and the Legends dining area across the street was awesome. Just know ahead of time that you have to go into the Legends area for public parking. Highly recommended!

the game itself was great, but the venue was a dump! My son was playing in a soccer tournament in kansas city so we went to the game we are from Illinois, and the Chicago fire have Toyota Park great place to see a game. come on kansas city you have to do better than that. Would never go to a game there again. If the Wizards can find a better place to play they should have there team taken away there are several citys that would love to have a mls team and would have better venue than that dump!!!!!

We have gone to several Wizards games over the past few years and have always enjoyed them. The fan base is great and there is always excitement in the air. This was our first game at Community America Ballpark. This venue is not at all soccer fan friendly. It was very difficult to watch the game.
