The event was good for my first professional soccer game. However concessions at this event were way over priced and the lines for the concessions moved at a snails pace. The concessions cost this event 3 stars.

I got endzone tickets & was very pleased with the whole event. My 4 & 5 year olds had a great time. It was $1 hotdog & beer night & lines were a bit long, but they still sold $1 dogs & beers past the 7 pm end time.

My family had a great time at the game. This is a nice stadium! Even the seats at the top are good seats, but the 3rd row was awesome! Our only complaint was the concession stands. They were under staffed and slow. Shortly after half time they had run out peanuts, popcorn, etc. About all they had was nachos. They were also out of Diet Dr. Pepper.

The game was awesome but the concessions stall was not on the ball. They couldn't keep up with the demand for pizza and I spent most of the first half in line getting some for my niece. My recommendation... get there a little early and hit the food stalls before the game starts.

I never carry cash with me. I ALWAYS use my debit card. Had my husband not been with me (who usually has cash) I would have not been able to eat or drink anything that day. They may be missing out on some revenue by not taking credit or debit cards.

I only watched the Mexico vs. Colombia game and had a great time. Even thought the team I root for did not win, I still enjoyed the experience at the Cotton Bowl. I love the fact that before the game and after the game I got to explore the State Fair. The three for one was good. I would defenetely go back to another event there, ofcourse, if Mexico comes to play there again.

The true team did not play. There was a bunch of unknown players. Seating was very disorganized. We has to argue to be able to sit in our own seats.
Consesion stad was crowded, extremely expensive and food was BADDDD!!!!

It was my first time at a soccer game and was excited. I loved the fact that it was at the cotton bowl during the state fair of Texas. People were unorganize and had to fight for my seat. More employees needed at this type of event to help people find their seats.

We (dad and I) not only got to watch one great game, but two amazing games. And we were also able to get into the state fair with our game tickets!!! Wow, that was an amazing experience. Too bad that was the last game Mexico played in US, because we are going to Africa 2010!!

Well, great experience, great moments, would definetly do it again!!

I went to the game with my girlfriend because we were interested in both teams and we wanted to do something different for a change (It was our first soccer game together). Didn't take us too long to get in and be seated (a reasonable amount of delay for events such as this). Overall, the crowd was pleasant and the game was somewhat entertaining (2-0 Colombia-Mexico). The stadium was clean and the staff was polite (but the food selection was limited and not so great). We didn't encounter any problems and my girl told me she had a good time. So there it is!

We are always excited when the Mexican National team comes to town and this was our second match viewing them this year, our first being at the New Cowboys Stadium.
Our seats were GREAT! Right behind the Mexican bench, but I didn't quite enjoy the game as much. Security at the Cotton Bowl isn't all that great. People are allowed to sit down in the aisles or stand in the aisles without being told to sit down or move. I had to ask event security several times to ask people to move from our seats/aisle (we had 4 tickets). People would leave only to come back a few minutes right in plain site of security and they did nothing. I had my wife and 2 kids with me and with our hands already full watching them, I didn't need to do the job of security and ask people to move out of the way.
I do love the memories I've had at the Cotton Bowl, but one thing I will give the New Cowboys Stadium is that security is much better at clearing aisles and making sure people are in the right area. If you ever attend an event at the Cotton Bowl, be prepared to fight the crowds, older facilities and very little security help.
I'll always go to watch El Tri Color play, but will keep in mind my experiences of the Cotton Bowl to better prepare myself if I ever have to go back.

Umm well I didn't see the FC Dallas game because I mean seriously? Who wants to see that? But the Mexico v. Columbia game was alright considering most of Mexico's team was the B team. Lot's of police officers on hand so security was good. Concession food was overpriced and low quality. Nacho cheese was cold. Cotton Bowl was great. The State Fair food is beyond amazing. If it's edible it can be fried here. Fried cheescake is amazing. Turkey legs = amazing. Fried coke = good.
