It was the Jackets' closing night. They would know their fate in getting to the playoffs that night. The guys came back to win, but missed the playoffs by one OTW that the Wild had. At the end of this game, the guys came back on the ice and gave their sweaters to fans. That was fun to watch. Also stayed after the game and the Wild game was on the big screen. We were all hoping for a loss for the WIld, but it didn't happen. Great game to a good season. Hopefully they'll keep the momentum during the summer and come back in the fall stronger than ever.

The atmosphere at Nationwide was terrific. Great crowd! With the win, the Jackets were looking at a chance to be in the Stanley Cup Playoffs pending the outcome of the Avs/Wild game. Fans were invited to stay to watch the final minutes of that game. Jackets didn't make the playoffs but with this team, there's always next year. Go Jackets!

Most drunks at sporting events are OK, but too often obnoxious drunks can greatly reduce the enjoyment of any event. In general things like pounding on the glass at hockey games bothers a lot of people. We had a guy in something called the meyers family jewelers box that is located between the two team benches. In it were 4 drunks and a kid. 3 of the drunks were OK, but the 4th was a piece of work. Screaming at the players on both teams, pounding on the glass; obstructing my wife's view of the event to such an extent she wanted to leave after the 2nd period. We stayed. The real kicker for this character was he was screaming at the little kids doing the shootout between periods and pounding on the glass; what a total lowlife. This nut should have been tossed from the game immediately, as should all these kinds of drunks; but it never seems to happen anymore. Gotta sell that extra 10 buck beer no matter what I suppose. I can guarantee we will never buy anything from meyers family jewelers, and maybe sponsors need to realize the people associated with things they sponsor reflect directly on them. The game itself was fantastic. Best game I have seen the Jackets play.

Blue Jackets are becoming better as the season progressed. Unfortunately, it was too late to come back to do anything about it. Hopefully, next season will be a different story as long as there are no more strikes.

I went with my girlfriend and we had awesome seats. Right behind the gaol 10 rows back on attack twice side. We where around awesome Jacket fans that made it even better. to bad they didn't make it to the playoffs but meh theres always next year. The jackets have a grate team and we can't wait till next session. We love going to watch the Jackets and can't wait to see how they do in all the new changes.

The arena was sold out and we had great seats. This was bt far the most exciting hockey game that Columbus ever played. My wife and I really enjoyed every phase of the event. Beautiful arena,great seats,fabulous time.

I have a disclosure to make before I start this review-I am a Red Wings fan. This was the second time I have been to Nationwide. We had a couple of friends from Columbus who had never been to a hockey game before. This was the only weekend that was free for our group, so we decided to go to a game in Columbus. The first thing that impressed me was the price of the tickets with the family pack. The price for these tickets would only get us in the upper deck at The Joe. However, with the family pack, we all got hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. The stadium is very nice. The fans that were by us were very friendly as well. The game was sold-out, and had a very playoff-like experience. Based upon the price and the atmosphere, we definitely will be back.

The game was amazing and the atmosphere was unforgetable. My husband & I enjoy going to the games so I brought my parents with us this time and they had a great time as well. It was the game of the season!!

The atmosphere was electric for the season finale game. This is what I expect games to be like. Very similar feel to a basketball / football game at The Ohio State University against a premier opponent. Lots of chanting, cheering, and celebrating. Hope the Blue Jackets continue their run next season and the fans continue to support in this manner.

I can only hope the CBJ is as good next year as they were the last half of the season. Maybe they fill the house and plaza like that more than one day out of the year. Maybe they make the playoffs and we win a game (or even series) there.
Only bad thing was the increase in security after Boston + crowds they haven't had all season = not everybody able to get into the rink by the opening faceoff.

Good price, good value. They know how to entertain the crowd and a great value for what you pay. Plus the ticket came with a $10 voucher for food for each ticket along with a free hat and mug. Can beat it.
