I've been to Hornets games before, but this was the first time we went as a family. It was the last home game under the Hornets name, and we opted for the Family Night package they promoted. While the seats were good enough for price range, we were supposed to get hot dogs, chips, and drinks included. We left the 2nd quarter to beat the half time rush, only to wait over 30 minutes AND not receive our food because we got tired of waiting. I know it's free food, but really, it's included in your price. I would NEVER have waited more than a few minutes for the food and miss the game, but workers kept telling us the food was almost ready. Then they offered for us to go watch the game and come back later for the hot dogs. But we left the food stand because waiting wasn't worth it. We ended up seeing less than half the game, no food, and no one could help us find the Kids Club membership stuff that we also signed up for online. It was just excuse after excuse that the name change was causing all the problems. Regardless, I feel we paid a lot of money and ended up with a terrible experience. I will not buy franchise ticket packages like this promotion anymore. We spent more time dealing with that than the actual game attendance itself!
