RBC Center remains one of the premier arenas to enjoy NHL hockey. Arena staff are professional and courteous, entering/leaving arena parking is efficient and the overall presentation of the game by Hurricanes staff was excellent. Ticket prices are very reasonable as well! I live in Washington, DC and it is cheaper for me to travel to RBC Center to catch a game than it is for me to catch the 'Canes when they play at Verizon Center.

We had a great time at the game. We've been a few times before, but this trip was a birthday gift for our daughter. She enjoyed it tremendously....and so did her 75 y/o grandmother.
A little too pricey to be able to attend more frequently...but once or twice a year; it's always an anticipated family treat.

Family night and my family had a great time! The dollar hot dogs made eating affordable, but the soda was too expensive. Though we were in the top section (330), I could see the puck 99% of the time.

The game was great for the first 30 minutes. Then after the next 5 goals by the Sharks, my friends and I ended up leaving in disgust with 7 minutes left to play. I am a huge Hurricanes fan, but they just aren't playing good this year.

I hate to say it because I like Paul Maurice, but the issues the Canes are having this season are more of a global nature as opposed to individual. TRUE, the Canes deperately need another 30+ goal scoring forward, and shed some older players who come to Raleigh as a last stop before they retire (yelle, etc...). But going from the least penalized teams to the most, is an indicator of coaching. Having a terrible power play for way too long is a coaching issue. This whole team is sick, the players are not playing as a team and thier heads are just not in the game. Sorry Mo and some of the old players, but youve got to go.

I enjoyed my experience at the RBC Center. It is nice to goto see a game and not have food thrown at me because I rooting for the visiting team. Being a person born and raised in San Jose... I have been a fan since they became a team. And when I have been to other venues that are not home to the Sharks I have had a salad bar and nachos thrown at me. It was a refreshing change. Plus the RBC Center is a great venue. Thanks to the Canes fans welcoming the Sharks into thier house. Great to see Ray Whitney get4n honored too.

This was one of the worst hockey games I've ever seen. Bad defense, bad offense. The Canes are basically the same team as last year and seem listless. Slow passing, missed assignments, a complete inability to bring the puck up ice except on a power play. What happened? There were actually boos at the RBC, probably due to the general lack of effort. This season will be gone unless something shakes this team up. Last season, it was the acquisition of Erik Cole. What will it be this year?

I liked how they do things to pump up the crowd on the screens. The crowd is intense when they are playing good...not the best game on the Hurricanes part, but it was still very exciting.

Great venue to watch an NHL hockey game, and nice, knowledgeable fans (I was even wearing the opposing team sweater). My one nit is that, with the abundance of video screen/scoreboard space, that most of it was wasted with replicated advertisements, and there was a dearth of game information. Only one display in the arena showed Shots-On-Goal and it was partially obscured from my seat. Instead of having the same RBC ad replicated, why not alternate panels with game states, framed by that same RBC ad?
