So upbeat and energizing! The Orchestra was fantastic! All cast members gave it their all!

Casa Manana's summer program for high school students again scores with this summer musical. The singing and choreography were excellent. Bravo!

This is one of my favorite musicals- the music is GREAT, and the characters are so much fun! This version was done a bit "modern". The story originally takes place on an island in the Carribean somewhere, sometime in the past. This version took place on the streets of a busy city in modern day. Some of it transitioned nicely and worked, other parts did not. It was an interesting idea, but I prefer the original interpretation.

Once on This Island was a non-stop, energy-packed event. The performers were all excellent singers and dancers who put such enthusiasm onto that small stage that the audience was rockin' with them. The set was extraordinary; unbelievably detailed and perfectly evocative of the "island" of Manhattan. Great show, one of the best of this year in Chicago.

Excellent production. I saw this play years ago at the Schubert theater and enjoyed it very much. The production at the Theater Building was equally enjoyable and very creatively done on a much smaller stage. Worth the price of admission

This play was fun and entertaining for a family. The children enjoyed it and the adults. I wanted to jump out of my seat and join the cast, but my daughter held me back. The actors and actress did a great job. Grab grandpa, grandma, mom, dad and the children and check this play out, you won't be disappointed.
