I took my daughter and granddaughter to see this because my granddaughter is in dance and has wanted to see it for some time. We were not disappointed. In addition to the Minnesota Ballet Company, the show had a number of children dancing, and I was amazed and what a great job they did. I was especially impressed with the child who played the daughter of the Butler and the Housekeeper. She not only danced well, her acting as the mischievous, almost obnoxious Madeleine was funny and excellent. The boy who played Fritz was almost as good.
The Festival Orchestra was also excellent. A dance company needs good music, and the musicians did the dancers proud.
