Yes, that is it in a nutshell.
THE POWER WENT OUT INEXPLICABLY, AND RUINED THE REMAINDER OF THE CONCERT, WHICH HAPPENED TO BE THE PART WHERE MICHAEL AMANTE WAS PERFORMING.
One cannot blame the performers(who were great) but must blame the NYCB theater for having absolutely no ability to keep a concert going in a situation like this( a power outtage).
This is a decades old entertainment venue so many guests for this concert were floored that there was no generator to keep this concert going.
Michael Amante was into a handful of songs when the power went out and after 30 mins of waiting- the venue had people leave the place.
We are talking no power other than the exit signs being lit.
This is appalling. It was both dangerous and inexcusable.
No offer of a make up concert date(even if not Michael Amante)- no refund- not even a partial refund.
With the money this venue brings in - honestly- no generator? Give me a break.
And if no generator, how about being fair and doing a partial refund or make up concert?
