The act material was interesting and dead-on when it comes to the differences between men and women! However, the comedian, Matt Iseman was awkward and treated the show more as acting than comedy. Even his quote, "I love this character" demonstrates that he sees this as a venue for acting rather than comedy.
It is hard to describe, but the way he came out on stage, went to intermission, and even ended the show were quite awkward and borderline uncomfortable. It never delivered. The book is a great jumping off point to do something like this, but they have the wrong comedian and the wrong approach. It seemed long, though it wasn't. And the comedian was over-acting and playing up each point way too much, bordering on preachy at times.
I would recommend passing on this show!
