Wonderful performance by the orchestra and soloist. THe pianist seemed to feel every note that he played with the orchestra following his lead. The first half, including the Sibelius and Stravinsky was also quite good. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

Great concept but performance of lead singer fell far short of expectations. Problem May have been sound volume / balance. He was over powered by the music.

The Gershwin Experience was a wonderful display of song, dance, music, and archival footage of George Gerswin's life. The close-ups of the pianist's hands were remarkable.

I felt like I was at a Zeppelin concert. This performance really made me appreciate the musical excellence of Led Zeppelin. It's more than just listening to your cd's. I cannot wait to go again.

Really loved the concert. The entire crowd, including myself, was on their feet giving the musicians standing ovations several times.

This show was incredible. The music of Led Zeppelin is my favorite and I was amazed at the talent performing at this show. The music was so good, I felt as though I was transformed to another time. All I can tell you is that I never wanted it to end......

This was the first concert of this type and would like to see more of these featuring different types of music. Thought Randy Jackson did an outstanding job. I would like to see him again maybe doing Pink Floyd or another similar artist,

I first heard an orchestra backing up a rock band when Metallica did it with the New York symphony . . . and when I saw this show, it brought the same feeling - great music, great performance. Can't wait to see Queen.

FANTASTIC! One word to describe the magical event which blended the vocals of Randy Jackson and the incredible traveling group of musicians who perform The Music of Led Zeppelin, and our own Louisiana Philharmonic. If you haven't seen this event, it is worth every cent. If you have already seen it, i am sure you will be first in line to get tickets the next time it comes to town. Don't miss it!

I was encouraged to go to this concert by my husband, and this was my first time seeing Randy Jackson. He did a phenominal job performing/singing the music of Led Zeppelin. His band is fantastic, and as always, the LPO was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert, which musically was probably as close to seeing Led Zeppelin as possible.

Totally enjoyed my experience. Brought back some great memories seeing Zeppelin in the 70's. Hopefully I can attend more of these concerts in the near future. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is a Zeppelin fan. Hope it comes back around really soon, I'll be there!!!!

Singer looked a lot like and sounded & acted JUST like Paul McCartney. It was a nice, clean show. The sound system for the orchestra wasn't working properly and that was quite unfortunate since that's half the reason I bought tickets. I'd still recommend it because it was an all around good show.

Overall a great evening. Didn't know a Beatles cover band would be there, but they did a good job. Worth noting is the gross underuse of the fantastically talented LPO orchestra in most pieces. When not playing, many LPO musicians sat & stood with their arms folded, looking like they couldn't wait to get out of there. However this did not reduce the enjoyment much. I guess it would compare it to ordering a filet mignon with fresh crab meat topping and then wiping off the crab meat - just a shameful waste. The theater is perfect and every seat is excellent. The seats were really comfortable too. You can also bring beverages that you purchase there to your seats! A nice plus. I laughed, cried, got goose bumps and enjoyed the whole experience. There's a Led Zeppelin+LPO show at the MJ Theatre in May that I will probably also attend.

The LPO sounded super. The blend of their sounds was perfect. I did find the backup vocals alittle to loud or not blending, but they did sound good overall. The song choices was great and the audience participation was a great idea. I would definetly recommend anyone to go and hear them perform. It brought back so many memories.

We expected this to showcase the orchestra when in fact it seemed to be a concert of Beatle wannabes. There seemed to be some problems with their audio system which didn't help.
