We decided to attend this production because I wanted my son to experience Broadway Quality with Disney purity. All of our expectations were exceeded.
The story line and characters are all very familiar to us, having seen the animated movie at least a 100 times. (Parenthood has its benefits)! The casting was outstanding. Each character matched his, her, or "its" animated counterpart to a "T".
Their performances were all magical and flawless. The use of talented supporting cast was effective. The transitions between scenes were seamless. The stage hands were cloaked well from view as costumed additions to the set and production. The set brought an excellent, Disney-like animated quality to this live production.
The drama and humor of the play were captivating. But Broadway is all about the song and dance. Liz Shivener, Justin Glaser, Michael Fatica, and the remaining cast of enchanted houseware/servants brought the entire production to levels of excellence I haven't witnessed in decades of productions. The production of "Be our Guest" and the romantic development of the lives of Belle and the Beast had us laughing and singing for hours.

This is the best show I saw last year. I absolutely loved it. The set was lovely, the costumes were authentic and the actors were amazing, even the minor ones. The singing was also great. Overall, it was a great, great show which I recommend to anyone who is willing and able to go.

It was everything I had hoped for and then more. I am a 54 year old kid at heart. I was not disappointed in anything. From the stage to the performers, the music, costumes, they spared no expense. If it ever comes back I will definitely be there. Hats off to all involved in bringing this Wonderful production!

My friend saw this play years ago and couldn't stop talking about how FANTASTIC it was. So, I finally got the chance to see for myself! A couple of factors: I was in the nose bleed seats, so I could hardly make out the cast members faces. This was my very first Broadway show. Don't go unless you ABSOLUTELY LOVE singing! The stage backdrops and stage props were beautifully done. I'm sure I probably would have like it more if I could have seen their faces.

Poor marketing, poor attendance, good performance; too late start time for midweek event in this area. 10pm intermission! School children and workers exhausted. Many left at intermission. What a waste!!

Beauty and the Beast (Touring) was incredible. My 7-year-old daughter and my mother went with me and we ALL enjoyed the play immensely. The talent was amazing! Lots of toe-tapping and laughter.

the performance was spectacular. the movie first came out when my daughter was about 6 yrs. old so it was a great experience for the family to recapture the excitement that show brought to her. i loved it and even my husband enjoyed it.

The sound in the state farm arena was horrible. We couldn't hear half the dialogue. We sat near the top and it was very warm. The people in the audience treated it like a hockey game. We had people up and down, in and out getting food and drinks. They were talking loudly to each other...You heard an underlying mumble the entire show. The worst was babies screaming and crying. People actually brought little babies. I did not think it was set up well for a serious Broadway production. I would never go there again. I've been to San Antonio's Majestic Theatre and that's where I will continue to go.

I took my 70 year old mother and 3 twenty two year old college girls to the musical. Everyone loved it. The orchestra was awesome and the actors/singers outstanding. Of course the set and props were up to Disney standards. All of us would happily see it again.

Beauty and the Beast was well done. My girls really enjoyed it! The costumes and sets were very colorful. The singing and dancing entertaining. A really great start to our family Christmas Celebration.

Not a play to take a child three or younger to...it was very long and had some dragging scenes...audio was poor, i expected it to be a bit louder...best part of play was the be our guest song and the last 15 minutes...nuce show to see on a date...our seats were far so we didnt have a good view of stage either...
