From the get-go, the show exceeded my expectations. The songs and the dances were totally up-to-date and fresh. I was a little surprised that Barney had gotten so cool without me realizing it. The pre-school mosh pit was hilarious (complete with bouncers) and my little one kept yelling, "Hey Barney, hey Barney! It's your birthday!" There was just the right amount of the well-loved Barney songs to keep it real. We had a great time. My only disappointment was they never said how old Barney was. :(

My little girl is 10 and has Down Syndrome. Barney is her life. We had the photo shoot so she could be right by him. The joy and excitement in her eyes when she saw him was worth a million dollars. Thank you for bringing this event closer to home. We still had a 2 hour drive, but it was worth every minute.
One of the songs Barney sang at the end was beautiful and says everything about my daughter's life. I had never heard it before and we are trying to find the words to it. He talks about if you need a friend that he will always be there.

Seeing Barney in Concert with my family was the best early Christmas gift I could've given my 2 year old. She smiled and laughed the entire time. I was very impressed how true to the movies they kept the show. Excellent evening for everyone.

My girls loved the show. They stood the entire show singing and dancing. It was never a dull moment with the singing and colors. We would go again that's for sure.

Very simple show - nothing Fancy. All the main charcters were there and lots of music.
The kids enjoyed it and thats what matters.
Shame not many people turned up - the arena was 9/10 empty

The performers were excellent but the show itself was not what I expected. The storyline and lack of interaction with the kids were disappointing.

Recently brought my 2 yr old daughter to Barney's B-Day Bash @ The Oakdale in Wallingford Ct...... It was the most enjoyable day of her life. The show is well produced and entertaining through out. Highly recommended! The joy on your child's face is priceless...........

I have a 2 1/2 year old and his attention was not captivated. There needed to be more singing and dancing and music...and Barney should leave some entertainment on the stage when he goes on intermission. Maybe if my son were older it would have been a more enjoyable experience. He sat quietly for the wiggles which was much more lively. Barney needed to be more exciting to keep their attention.

This was a good show for little ones. My 4 year old enjoyed it. It seemed to be the right length too, so he could pay attention to the whole show.

I took my 2 1/2 year old to see the Barney show yesterday at Carpenter Theater in Richmond, VA. All I can say is that it was well worth it! There was a meet & greet beforehand where we had her picture taken with Barney. No...Barney didn't hang around for an hour with all the kids as a previous poster complained, but is that really a realistic expectation? It's a person in a large, awkward dinosaur suit. He can't speak, sit down, or even move around very well. What's he gonna do for an hour with 1-4 year old's running around him? Suffice it to say, a picture with him was enough.
The show itself was very enjoyable! Got lots of pictures/video of my daughter laughing, dancing & singing....& at the end of the day, that's what I really wanted. For her to have a good time. I have plenty of friends that won't let their kids watch Barney on t.v. or have anything to do with Barney simply because they find him annoying. Whatever! Try not to take life so seriously & have a little fun! Barney is enjoyable to kids & teaches them a thing or two about animals, other people, manners, morals, etc. What's the harm in that?

Unfortantly I brought these tickets so that I could take my 4 year old son and my 1 year old son. Something came up that I couldn't miss so I had to send my husband in my place. He said the kids had a blast. The only issue I have since I wasn't able to go was that there wasn't a area in the front to take pictures, and I really wanted to see their faces when they realized where they were...lol.
