We've been fans of Ballet Hispanico for many years. Each performance, each year, BH seems to be getting better, as if there was room for improvement. This one took a major leap. The initial piece, inspired by the tango, was superbly choreographed and executed. The second, inspired by Spain's post-Franco youth movement, was stunning. Both the choreagrapher's expertise and each dancer's talents made this one of the most impressionable performances we've seen. Paquito D'Rivera was phenomenal - and the troupe followed two strong pieces with yet another which was dazzling.
